The tunnels were closing in. I was struggling to breathe. My vision was getting blurry as I stumbled through the cave my footsteps were slowing down as I lost my energy. Maybe blowing them up wasn't the best idea.
I feld the stone crumple around me, pebbles falling and hitting my skin. I had no idea how long I had been stumbling around for; everything looked the same through the blackness.
Then I saw light! It was dim but visible. The light was already in a tight space but that space got even more cramped as the tunnel caved in.
I was crawling through as behind me the tunnel caved in even more. I was trying to subdue the panic rising in me.
I did a sort of dive out of the cave and gulped in the beautifuly fresh air. I was incredibly relieved that I had survived! I heaved a sigh of relief.
"And that's all I remember," I said to the person who rescued me.
Then he told me, "You just saved the world."
I cautiosly asked in shock, "What from?"
"A caterpillar born from the depths of hell."
