I could pretend to be happy
that is easy to do...
I could pretend I've moved on
just so they'll think I'm over you.
I could pretend I've forgiven
that way, I will look cool
I could pretend I am busy
you're no pompous to me.
I could pretend I'm not hurting
and be praised for my strength
I could pretend you are nothing
a past-time, fling, has no weight.
I could pretend I don't miss you
'cuz you're not missing me too
I could pretend to be blooming
and ready for someone new.
I could pretend I'm pretending
that my world would go 'round
but myself I'll be fooling
and still, here...
your love...
can't be found.
