It was the kind of weather where the sky misted the faces of those who walked uncovered and the wind whipped at the hair that went untethered. Love was blossoming in the hearts of four, extremely gay souls that wished for nothing more than to be happy, and that's what they were getting.

Penelope walked Lauren back home as slowly as possible, loving the feeling of the warmth that came with their hands touching, especially in the cold that nipped at their noses and the tips of their fingers.

After a long period of 'studying' (aka excessive cuddling with the institution of a few occasional vocabulary words), Caleb had fallen asleep, as per usual, on Isaac's chest. Isaac didn't mind whatsoever, it was nice to have another living, breathing, warm human next to him. Isaac didn't mind so much so that he even put a strong arm around the sleeping human who he deeply cared about, although he wouldn't admit it if one asked. Caleb let out a full-on snore and Isaac laughed quietly as to not wake him.

Drops of water dripped from Penelope's hair onto her face. Her nose was red, her cheeks were red, she probably looked like a mess, but in that moment, nothing could've been more perfect. Stopping in the middle of the sidewalk, Penelope pulled her Lauren towards her, holding onto her hip and swaying. Lauren threw her beautiful head back and laughed, the water glistening in her dark hair. There wasn't any music aside from the thumping of their synced hearts, and it was enough.

Isaac slowly slid his body out from Caleb's sleeping arms and began to clean up the mess of papers around the bed that had been kicked off whilst the blond-haired boy slept. It was easy to distinguish Isaac's papers from Caleb's via the many doodles that lined Caleb's and the messy handwriting that littered Isaacs. Isaac slightly wished Caleb wouldn't wake up, he looked so peaceful and as soon as he woke up, Isaac would be a literal mess because that damn boy made him so nervous.

It began to rain harder, but the two didn't care. They continued to sway in the rain, smiling uncontrollably. Cars drove by, splashing them with the rain water that was collecting on the streets, but they didn't care. Dancing there, with her favorite person, Penelope felt on top of the world, nay, the universe and wished for this feeling to last forever.

Whilst organizing the papers, Isaac heard a sleepy groan from the bed behind him as Caleb's incredibly light eyes fluttered open. Isaac could feel Caleb's eyes boring into his back as he continued to pick up the papers that littered the floor. When finished, Isaac laid back in bed next to Caleb, who returned to resting his head on Isaac's chest. Isaac drew nervous circles on Caleb's shoulder and stared up at the undecorated ceiling, content.
