Hindi pa rin nagsisink in sa utak ko ang sinabi niya after ko siyang gamutin.

Tiningnan ko lang siya gamit ang cold stare ko. Napansin kong may tinuro siya kaya tiningnan ko ito.

"Miss Erlinson, I'm been calling you a hundred times and you are not even listening", sermon ng teacher naming lalake sa math.

Ako? Tiningnan ko siya ng maigi, I didn't answer his stupid question kasi stupid nga.

"Now what?", tanong niya ulit

"Huh? Maybe call me again another time sir", I spoke calmly while my eyes are still looking outside the window.
I heard my classmates laugh and others are getting angry sa inasal ko. I don't care.

"I'm actually interested but sad to say sir, I already reviewed that lesson last vacation. Talking about advanced study and self-study sir"

"So, if you already encountered this topic, answer the problem at the board. With SOLUTION and EXPLANATION"

Tumayo ako at nilagpasan siya. Kinuha ko ang marker sa table niya at tiningnan ang equation.

Nakakatamad isulat. Sana isabi na lang. Psh, bakit ba kaming mga estudyante ang palaging pinapasolve ng ginawang problem ng teacher? Sila ang naglikha, kami ang pinapasagot.

I started to answer the said equation. In less than a minute, I finished it. Piece of cake nga eh.

Psh, ayaw ko pa naman mag explain. Ano ako? Utusan?

How can you find the quotient and remainder of 179 divided by 11 on a calculator without using the division key?

My Answer:

Repeatedly subtract until what is left is less than 11. The quotient is the number of times 11 was subtracted and the remainder is what is left. Another method is to find Q and R which satisfy 11Q + R = 179, such that R is less than 11; Q = 16 and R = 3.
