(Tyonia Nyroca)
Hello people of the interweb. Let me introduce myself. I'm Tyonia Nyroca. I'm seventeen i graduate next year. And my parents are abusive and I have one friend. (Although she's a teacher.). My parents don't want me going to school because they want me to be stupid like them.
My teacher told me about the foreign exchange program and I immediately decided that I would do it. Mrs. Hall my teacher helped me fill out all the documents.
Waking up is hard for me because of the harsh beating I received from my parents last night.
I get out of bed carefully and grab some clothes for school and get dressed.
Once I'm dressed I have to sneak out of the house and walk to school. My parents wants me to be stupid.
I open my door carefully and walk out the house unnoticed.
I walk to school alone and think about what's going to happen when I leave here and go wherever I'm going. I'm excited and scared at the same time.
I get close to the school take a deep breath and head into the front office for my information packet that will tell me where I'm going.
"Hello Ty. How are you today?" The secretary asks
"I'm good. How are you Mrs. Cook?" I ask in return.
"I'm very well thanks for asking sweetie. Are you here for your informational packet?" She asks
"Yes ma'am I am"
She reaches behind her and grabs a big envelope.
"Here you go sweetie, Mr. Richond wants to see you. He told me to ask you to go see him after I gave you this" she tells me
"OK. Is he in his office?" I ask
"Yes. Go on ahead and go in" Mrs.cook says
I walk over to the big door and knock on it waiting for a response.
"Come in" I hear Mr.Richond's gruff voice say
I walk in slowly and watch as Mr.Richond stands walks over to me and hugs me tightly.
"I'm gonna miss you Ty" he says
"I'm gonna miss you to Mr.Richond" my voice muffled by his chest.
We pull apart and sit down.
"Have you looked to see where your going?" He asks
"No not yet" I say and decide to pull out the sheet that will tell me where I'm going.
We look at it together and see that it says I'm going to Doncaster England.
"Are you excited?" Mr.Richond asks
"A little and I'm scared" I admit
"About what sweetie?"
"What if they decide they don't want me or if they don't like me?"
"They would be fools if they don't like you sweetems"
I smile and hug him.
I hear the bell ring and stand up.
"Let me write you a note for class." Mr.Richond says and starts scribbling something down. He hands it to me and I walk out of his office and go to class.
Once to my class I hand Mrs. Hall the note and sit down in my seat.
-after school- (A/N Cuz I'm lazy)
After school me and Mrs. Hall went to Mr. Richond office and waited a little bit for him.
Mr. Richond comes out of his office and we head over to his car and hop in. (All my luggage is in the trunk of the car)
We head to the air port where I will be headed to Doncaster England.
I'm so excited.
(A/N I've never been on an. airplane so bare with me)
-at airport-
When we get to the airport I get my luggage and take it over to get it checked in for me and then take my carry-on with me and me mrs. Hall and mr. Richond all sit down and talk for a bit till it's time for me to get on the plane.
"FLIGHT 284 IS READY TO BOARD AT GATE 4. I REPEAT FLIGHT 284 IS READY TO BOARD AT GATE 4" I hear the announcer say.
"Welp that's me" I state obviously.
I stand up slowly and grab my carry-ons. I hug Mrs. Hall and Mr. Richond goodbye and head over to the gate I have to go through.
Walking through the gate I turn and look back at my old teacher and principle and wave goodbye and got on the plane and sat down in my seat and waited for the plane to take off.
