It was certain, Dan Howell hated his family. If you you could even call them that. You see, they had never been the most supportive people but Dan thought they would at least stand by his sexuality. He was wrong... That's why he's here right now, after he told them his dad had told him he was no son of his and that if he decided to become normal again then, and only then, can he come home.

Dan -
Dan didn't know how far he'd walked or where he was even going but one things for sure, that isn't 'home' . Suddenly it began to get cold and a thin hoodie wasn't helping him stay warm. As If on cue, it began to rain - tears from the clouds begin to fall, blending in with the tears on his cheeks and drowning him in sadness. To shelter himself from the rain, and try and stay dry, he hid under a bridge masked in darkness. This should keep him safe right....?

Wrong.

As he walked through the tunnel he could feel something watching him from the shadows, waiting for him.. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a hooded figure emerged and grabbed his wrist. He reeked of alcohol and cigarettes, and his smile wide and sinister. Dan was paralysed, he couldn't even scream, just watch helplessly as he saw the figure pull out a knife..

Just as the figure was about to plunge the knife into Dan's chest something stopped him, no not something someone..

A boy around his age was now screaming at the figure to 'get away from him' and that he's 'calling the cops'. Immediately the figure ran not caring about the boy or Dan....

The boy!

On cue Dan felt a pair of strong arms bring him to his feet all while whispering comforting words.
P- "my name's Phil can you tell me your name?" The boy said in a northern accent.

D- "D-dan"

P- "So Dan where's your home so I can take you there "

"nowhere.. " he whispered in audibly but hoping Phil got the message. Phil looked at him for a moment before pulling Dan in the opposite direction to his house.

D- "where are we going? "

P- "no one should have to be alone, so I'm taking you to my house instead. Is that okay with you?"

He thought for moment about this, after all Phil was still a stranger but he had saved him from that figure at the bridge.

D-"Fine by me"
