"It was prom night, the supposed best night of my life. And it was ... Until I uncovered a mystery that would change everything..."
Last week I arrived at Evie's house we were going to go to the mall to look for possible prom outfits. The mall was our place to just go and chill.
"Hey Bells! Ready for prom, it's gonna be so fun" said Evie, as we went up the escalator.
"Yeah, I can't wait, I still need to get my dress." "What am I supposed to wear?!" I said Laughing.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" She asked.
"We should totally go to Dress Gem." I said "I heard that's where Mary got her dress from."
"Yeah, like totally." "Her dress is my envy."
"Were going to be the totes cutest."
"Only when I'm with you." Evie giggled.
Walking with Evie was like it was only the two of us. We were two peas in a pod. As we walked around we passed so many shops, and we stopped in all of them. We were strung by bags full of accessories. That was only the beginning it was time to go shoe shopping! Our favorite shop for shoes was Heel Heaven. It had that many shoes, the shop need an elevator. We walked in, side by side and placed our bags behind the counter. The lady who worked there Michelle was our biggest fan, and we were thought as her best customers. We started trying on shoes. Pink, blue, purple, black sparkles, nearly every shoe in the shop. I picked up two boxes from in the corner.
"What did you find Bells?"
"Just some boxes."
The shop owner overheard our conversation and waked over to us, the look of surprise on her face.
"Just some boxes." She gasped. "Girls, girls, girls, these aren't just boxes." "Inside are the newest, cutest high heels in this half of the earth." "Why don't you open them?"
Intrigued Evie and I sat down and lifted the lids. What we saw inside was two pairs of custom made 8 inch Sky dark blue high heels with sparkles. "OMG!" we screamed together. "We'll take them!"
"I thought you might like them." Smiled Michelle.
I looked at the receipt, it cost $250. "Don't worry Isabell, were gonna rock those heels."
"Easy for you to say." I sighed "If my mum every found out the price, she'd tell me to take them straight back."
"Don't worry, I'm sure she'll be understanding."
"Have you met my mother?"
We both laughed. "Yeah she will act totally cool."
"Okay Bells, how about a sleepover at my house."
"You read my mind." "We still need accessories and dresses though."
"Its fine it won't take that long we have like 2 hours left. And if we don't get the dress we can come back, just chillax."
We went to Crystal Accessories ad picked out about 5 necklaces bracelets and earrings. Our arms were now weighed down by shopping. "I guess dress shopping is on tomorrow's agenda." I said.
"Let's go back to my place."
"I'll just call my mum."
Phone rings*
Mum: Hello?
Me: Hey mum is it ok if I have a sleepover at Evie's tonight?
Mum: Why so you can ignore your family even more than usual!?
Me: No... it's just so we can plan out our outfits for prom
Mum: Whatever
Me: Fine... thanks, bye.
Hangs up*
