You ran from Undyne as fast as your legs would carry you. Your chest ached and your legs grew tired. Undyne followed you into Hotland but her armour caused her to collapse. You felt bad and grabbed a cup of water, pouring it on her head you saw her smile slightly. She stood up and glared at you before walking away with her back hunched over miserably in defeat.
You walked past her and saved. Thank god there was a save point, you didn't think you could do that again! The sight of a strange lab in the distance filled you with determination and you slowly walked forwards into it. As you entered you noticed a giant screen focuses on you body. It tracked your every move and it made you a little uneasy. A small chubby dinosaur with big swirly glasses stepped out of the bathroom and looked shocked to see you there at first but her long mouth slowly twisted into a distorted smile. "You must be (Y/N) correct?" She spoke with a sickly sweet tone. You nodded.
"Excellent!" She near shrieked "do you have a cell phone? Hotland is full of dangerous puzzles y'know." You nodded and held out the phone that Toriel gave you. Alphys' obviously fake smile twisted into a look of horror,
"What is that?" She yelled "it's ancient!!!" She took no time in removing the phone from your hands and scurrying off to 'upgrade' it, "there you go much better!" She gave the phone back to you and you smiled at her to show your appreciation "I also-" she was cut off by a loud metal crash "oh dear god..." She said with a frown.
"OOOOH ALPHYYYYYS~~~" the voice shouted.
"What does he want now?" Alphys said under her breath before a box like robot broke through the wall. It looked at you and a happy face was displayed on his screen, "OOOH A HUMAN! How delightful~" he spoke. You smiled at him and said hello, he clapped his hands together and sped towards you. Unsure of what to do you sort of just... Awkwardly stood there. The robot wrapped his four pairs of arms around you and spun you around,
"Oh aren't you adorable!" He exclaimed "oh and by the way... I'm Mettaton~"
