This Place Is Huge

"Hello, how may I help you?" a lady said after she opened the door. She wasn't what I expected. She was in her mid-40's. After seeing the sports car in the drive way I was expecting someone younger but this is LA, you never know.

"HI, I'm Hazel May. I had a voice mail about moving in here, so I came right away."

"Hazel May? oh right I remember. Have you got any ID on you?"

"ID? Yeah, I have my driving license"

"That's perfect" she said as I pulled out my purse and gave her my licence.

"Okay, thanks, come in" She said after looking at it. She handed it back to me and moved into the house, leaving me confused. I followed her down a long hallway that was lined with photo frames with CDs in them, into an open plan living room, kitchen.

"So you have been accepted to live here, I would say to become a tenant here. I do at most cases, but here the owners have said that there is no need for you to pay so you can just move in." She said, "Oh by the way I am Shelia Hamtle, Okay let’s get on with the tour of where you are staying"

"So this is the only kitchen and living room in the house, so you will be sharing this"

"Yep"

"Here's a booklet on the house, and my number is in there as well" she said giving me an A4 ring binder while we carried on walking through the house, pasted an indoor pool, gym and cinema room. This place was bigger than it looked from the outside.

"This place is huge"

"It’s built into the rock so there is no windows here, there's also three levels to it and you’re on the top floor now. Down here" she said walking down the stairs that was at the end of the corridor.

We walked down another corridor, where all the doors were closed but there was only five rooms on this floor then came to another set of stair which we went down then stopped outside a door.

"Here's your room" she said opening the door.

It was huge. One wall painted dark purple and the others were cream. The bed was made with a matching colour purple duvet cover and it all was just perfect.

"I spoke to your boss, who filled me out with what your favourite colour was so that I could get someone the doctorate. I believe he's going to help you move in, as will I"

"When am I to move in?" I asked walking down a small corridor which had built in open wardrobes that leads to a small bathroom. This room was bigger than the apartment I had in England.

"Tomorrow?"

"uuurrrm, yeah that's fine"

"Okay, your boss gave me your address I will be around at 10 am to lead a hand"

"Okay"

"Now, have you finish looking around?"

"Yes thank you"

With that she led me upstairs and to the door, I was still wondering what was on the second floor and why I hadn't met the owners.

Maybe it's in the booklet thing.

I got in my car and drove to my boss' place where I was staying until tomorrow morning. I need to pack up my stuff, even though I didn't have much as I couldn't bring it from England. It was going to be a car full at the most.

**

After packing for hours, I had finished, and all that was left was the bed and the few possessions that where in the room when I came. I was so glad my boss, Max, had let me stay here, and now he's got me an amazing house!

I pulled out the booklet from my bag. What? I need to read up before I move in.

HI, sorry we couldn't be there to show you round, we are in England at the moment. Just to let you know we live in England most of the time but spend 3 to 4 months in America maybe more. We come back on the 24th of July, it's a night flight so won't be in the house till 4am. Don't wait up! But I’m sure we will wake you up. Sorry in advance.

24th, that's in 3 days’ time.

Just a little to tell you about the house, we know you have been shown around and hopefully you like your room but there is more to tell you. We will most likely show you around when we get there. Please do not go in the rooms on the second floor without our permission.

The Cleaners come in every Monday and Thursday, so you don’t have to clean anything up unless you have spilled something

Call me weird but I love to clean so that's going to be boring. Maybe I can ask the cleaners not to do my room?

And finally, FOOD! Don't eat all of it! ALWAYS make sure there are these things in the house;

Chocolate

Crisps

Pizza

Chicken

Sweetcorn

Cookie Dough Ice Cream

More Chocolate

We do eat other things but these are a must have!

Can't wait to meet you!

See you soon

Boys :)

Boys? Who are they? And how many?

God! What would dad say if he found out I was leaving with boys?
