Buffy boomed her low, and imitating voice through the house. "I'm here! Jessa! Where are you?" I rolled my eyes. Always so protective. "In my room! Is Calvin coming?" I asked worriedly. The big girl tumbled into my room. Her shaggy, dark brown hair was in front of her beautiful green eyes, and she towered over me with a surprising 7"2 height.
"I don't know. I don't stalk him....like someone else in this room..." She answered. We laughed, and being the only people in the room, you knew who stalked who. Calvin and me had been friends since birth, along with Buffy. She had always been awkwardly tall, like when she was as tall as a fifth grader–at age two. The funny thing is that she kept growing, and never really stopped.
Calvin on the other hand, had grown from a tiny, scrawny, shy kid, to one of the most athletic, tanned, dreamy, coolest kids I know. I hated that I got nervous around him. We were practically family. But yet, not family cause I had the biggest crush on him ever.
Even though we were just watching a football game, I felt like I had to look my best, act politely, and overall it was tiring. Buffy carefully studied me. "Are you okay? You look stressed." I sigh. "Yah, kinda. It's just...never mind you won't get it."
Buffy had never been one to understand love or get sarcasm. When someone said 'never mind' she wouldn't ask what they were going to say. She just nodded and walked away.
"Well, it's just a football game! Just get in your jersey and be awesome!" I smiled at that. So maybe she could get love, because she like read my mind. "Thanks. That's some good advice for someone who can't put on a shoe." We laugh again, as I point to her shoes, which are on the wrong feet. She's not the brightest, but I sure am thankful for her.
Then we hear a knock on the door. I rush downstairs to see who it is. "Juno! Yeah, you could make it!" I yell, hugging my other bestie, Juno. She was long, curly, blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Her face is makeup–zone, even though she doesn't need any of it. She's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She has this charm...she can always get her way just by saying what she wants.
We claim she has the Force, which is kinda like a joke now. Anyways, we run back up to my room and gossip for some time. Over about 30 minutes, Queenie(a super nice girl that has grey eyes and black hair. Creepy, but pretty) Piper (A girl with strikingly red hair, dull blue eyes, and freckles all over. Super nice too[but she can be a bit of a boss])Pixie(a super short, high pitched voiced, shy girl that is like Pipers sidekick) Kevin (Quite a boss. Why did I invite him again? Oh yeah him and Piper are dating) Meadow (super nice girl with dyed green hair and sweet, adorable dimples) and Calvin (oooh nervousness!) showed up.
Now we're downstairs watching a football game screaming at the television. Good thing dad's on a business trip, he would have KILLED me. I barely heard the knock on the door over the screaming.
