"Nee~, Deidara-senpai?" A smirk curled up on the owner of the voice's lips; a wicked smile that opposed the frown that said senior wanted to disappear.

Refreshing Deidara's mind, it was another one of those boring days, in which he could only lounge around the Akatsuki base as he longed for a mission.

Sitting on the table in the kitchen as he walked in, he saw you looking straight out the window, as if expecting something to be there. He looked out, but saw nothing and shrugged, pulling a chair from the table to sit on.

Secretly staring at you, he never seemed to see you smile. Not even when the most hilarious jokes made in the house which can make the Leader chuckle could get a small curl on your lips. You were like another Itachi, which in a way could make Deidara huff angrily at the very thought of it. But he can't exactly compare him to you. You were, in his opinion, a lot more sad and not very bright. Although that just seems to add the similarity between you and Itachi and Deidara would have a vein pop as he scratched his head frustratedly.

You were pretty normal for a new and younger member. If normal means sitting there, being almost antisocial, unless needed. Everyone even agreed that you were most likely related to the most emotionless person in the world, Itachi. Of course they agreed behind his back, in case their bodies were ever found in a pile of black flames and ashes.

Deidara sighed to himself and tried to appeal to you in any way, out of boredom.

"Nee~, you're [name], right? Un." He started, a hand on his cheek as he turned to you, expecting an answer.

You blinked and nodded at him, before resuming your staring contest at the window.

Still, Deidara wasn't satisfied with your answer at all. He had to admit that Tobi was more fun to blow up with, than you.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Despite whatever he thought negatively about you, he did try his best to get closer to you. For one thing, he learned that you can make slight expressions, even without your lips moving. Sometimes when he makes confusing comments, you would furrow your brows and tilt your head. But by then, Deidara found that to be not such a bad thing about you. And maybe your silence and straight poker face.

During the little times you spent together, you would seem to avoid him, without trying to hurt him. And you try to get away by asking the Leader for any missions, in which he does for you. And every time you come back for more, your form would be bloodied everywhere. And every time, Deidara would wait until you returned asking if you were hurt with real concern.

By then, you unbelievably got stuck with Deidara, despite your prayers and refusal of having to do anything with him.

Too bad for Deidara, he took it as a sort of shyness coming from you. He was already content with being with you, and seeing you blush and hide your face in your arms. It was a sign that friendship was developing. Deidara didn't even need you to smile for him. It wasn't a game out of boredom anymore.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One night, when storms are coming and loud thunder casts everywhere over the base, everyone was already asleep, ignoring the booms that pounded on the cave ceilings.

Deidara was just awake, having not able to sleep from all the noise. Even if his motto is ART IS A BANG! it's not to that good to hear explosions everyday to the point where he might as well go deaf.

The raining outside is pouring now like a large shower. Lightning flashed outside, which bothered him a bit, so he got up to close the curtains.

Upon walking to the curtains, he sees a figure behind him from the window glass.

"Ah! Who is it!? Un!" Deidara demanded defensively, a hand at his clay.

"Heheheheheh~ Hahahahahah~! Deidara-senpai~? It's me," Lightning flashed, its bits of light revealing a familiar [c] haired friend. "[name], right?"

Immediately, Deidara was suspicious of your behavior as a huge smile stretched across your cheek bones, as far as they can go. You never smiled, so why now? And why like this?

"Y-You can't be [name]! Un! [name] would never be like a circus freak like you!" Deidara shouted, spatting at you, stretching your smile even further. And you giggled.

"Hehehehe~ Deidara-senpai...?" You asked, your head hung low.

"W-What?" Said person backed away slowly, ready to try a smoke bomb. You took a step closer, lightly chuckling under your breath.

"Didn't you know~? If it weren't for you meddling with [name] herself, SHE wouldn't have to kill you with her own hands!" You stared maniacally as you raise your voice for every word out of your mouth. "You shouldn't have gotten too close. You shouldn't have been so curious. Curiosity killed the killed, have you heard? And that's how you'll be." You muttered every sentence silently, which scared Deidara even more.

"Stop it! [name], wake up! Un!" Deidara shouted in protest. He didn't believe anything from you. You are probably controlled. Maybe even a clone of some sort, or an illusion. But whatever it is, it isn't you.

"Wake up? What nonsense. I am awake! And hey~" you stepped closer this time, your face inches away from Deidara's as his back is pressed on the wall, with no escape. "Didn't you say that you wanted me to smile? Well your wish came true."

The last thing the blonde senior saw was a wide smile and crazy eyes that stared at him like a predator, excited for his fearful and foolish prey.

EXTRA:

"Stop! Don't kill him! You can't kill Deidara-senpai! Please don't, I beg of you, just don't hurt him! PLEASE!"

"Hmph."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Piercing screams filled the heavy atmosphere, as knives drove themselves deeper and deeper inside the hands that cringed and wiggled as worms squirming for life.

A light cackle echoed in this dark dungeon. Footsteps bounced off the sounds here and there, sending even more chills down the captive victim's entire body and cell. A single flaming torch was lit up in the darkness, revealing pale and thin skin, along with ragged [c] hair and pained [c] eyes. The victim panted heavily and gulped, eying her wounds in horror.

Knives that tacked her palms on the wall, and blood gushing from the cuts; pouring down a bloody waterfall.

From behind the jail cell, a duplicate of herself stood, staring at her with pure amusement in pain. A total sadist.

"'Don't kill Deidara-senpai," you say? Don't worry. After I'm done with your kindness, I'll send Deidara to where you will be going." The duplicate raised a knife and aimed it directly at her twin's heart.

"Down to the deepest levels of h*ll. And then, I'll be the real you."
