"Everything will be different here" thought Jaycee as she unpacked in her new room. All she could think about was her friends back in Illinois and the fact that she was 800 miles away from them in the state of Pennsylvania. Jaycee moved here on Memorial Day weekend. She wanted desperately to go back home but her father wouldn't allow it. The only reason she moved out here was because her dad got a new job. As Jaycee unpacked she found things that reminded her of home. She found her school year books and photo albums. After Jaycee was done unpacking she looked through her year book and began to cry because of the memories that flooded her brain. Summer went by surprisingly quickly and that meant going to her new school was coming soon. Here's how her summer went: I went to Dorney Park which sucked balls compared to a holiday world, I got a babysitter cuz my dad works crazy hours, and I met some of my neighbors. I guess it wasn't awful because I lived. School was coming upon her and she said still didn't have any supplies. Jaycee went to Walmart but didn't find and school supply list! "Huh, This place is too different" thought Jaycee. She later found out that her teachers would give her a list of stuff that she needed. "Wow, Pennsylvania is strange" thought Jaycee again. It was orientation day. (Which means going to check out the school before school starts) Then, it was the first day of school. Jaycee had to ride the bus which was totally different because she used to walk to school. At her bus stop she met a girl named Stacy which was in 6th grade and Jaycee was in 7th grade but that didn't matter. They became friends instantly. On the bus Jaycee sat by herself because she didn't want to sit with someone she didn't know. Once she arrived at school she instantly wanted to go hide on the back of the bus. Jaycee slowly walked to the school that awaited her.
