Chapter 1

The Fallen: Chapter One : Childhood

My childhood was not any different then any regular child, well at least as normal as knowing you're going to turn into a big giant wolf when your older. My name is Jessica my last name doesn't matter any more all connections to my "family" have been cut off.

I was the daughter of the pack's beta and best friend with the alpha to be when we were younger. Being the beta's daughter and the daughter of the packs golden girl meant i was treated differently then all the other children.

Everyone respected me, spoiled me, loved me and even the children themselves loved me but that didn't mean i was a spoiled brat i acted just like everyone else. Then suddenly my life changed. Nobody talked to me aside from showering me in insults, even my mother insulted me like she wasn't the one who had brought me into this miserable life in the first place.

************* Flash Back*************************** The day was dreary like it knew this day was going to ruin my future. My life was changed so drastically I even remember what i was wearing a teal colored pair of jeans, a white daisy printed, pink shiny shoes my mom used to take pride of how clean I kept them and a nice sequined bow in my wild curls.

Taking cautious steps onto the playground being careful not to get my shoes dirty because my mom was going to go crazy if i got even one spec of dust on them. Once i looked up Liam was staring at me and had a huge smile plaster across his face.

" Hey Jess what took you soooo long we've been waiting for you!" Liam spoke with a slight lisp due to the fact he was missing his two front teeth.

I just shrugged because even as a small child I had that sixth sense i've always had, I knew that something bad was going to happen I was just to small to know what it was.

"Im sorry you know mama hates when I leave, to play." I said.

We began walking towards the rest of the children, that were spread out among the lawn of the pack's play area.

"hey guys!" immediately all the children turned to look at me. I gave them a wide grin walked over to the girls playing tic tac to with the blocks on the play ground.

Everyone turned and stared then suddenly everyone was trying to gain my attention, children that were playing feet away came all the way to were everyone was trying to convince me to play.

"Stop! You guys know I hate it when everyone talks at once and loudly. It hurts my head!" I exclaimed glaring slightly at everyone in the area.

Regret crossed their faces and suddenly I leaned forward and yelled, " Your it Jane!" and took off running. Everything was fine until the sky suddenly crying out as if warning us of what was going to happen. Screams of terror echoed throughout the clearing at the same time my vision was covered with black dots and my head exploded in pain.

The air started whipping around me violently and the screams got louder and so did my head ache and raw despair that had begun building when the screams started. Then the screams turned to horror and everyone took steps away from me and then nobody was screaming scared due to the storm but because of me.

********* End of Flashback********** Sadly I can't remember anything and I can't find a trace of the clothes from that night all except for one thing the pink shiny shoes- except they weren't pink anymore but stained - with blood and lots of it enough to kill someone if lost.

A/N Hey guys and girls I'm sorry I don't upload as much but I am working hard on my sports medicine major. I had two tests already not counting my other english major class where I had 3 tests every week and this is only week 4. I know I keep telling myself it will be worth leaving all my friends including the one I've known since birth behind but I really don't know anymore.
