I wake up in the morning and groan. Its the first day of summer. Normal people would be excited for summer, but not me. You see, I have a big family. There's me, Katelyn the youngest sibling, John, Jacob, and Jack the triplets. Sadly, we all have to share a room. One bed for me and Katelyn and one bed for all the boys. Anyway, having this big a family sucks during summer. You have to do what everybody else wants to do and you don't get any personal space. Being the oldest if them all definitely doesn't help because you have to "babysit" them when you would rather be out with your friends. I get off the bed, and try not to wake Katelyn up. She gets pretty feisty for a twelve year old, when you wake her up. I put my teal bathing suit on, then I put my teal crop top and some shorts over my bikini. I put on my locket necklace that has a family picture from when we were actually happy. I put on my turtle bracelet and walk down stairs. I grab a piece of toast off the table and run out the door. I'm running away, well towards my escape. The ocean has always been my escape since I was little. I take off my jewelry and my top and shorts and put them on my normal chair. I run towards the water. I accidenly bump into a guy. "Oh sorry.." I look up and its my best friends brother, Ryan. "Oh hey Ryan. How's Rose?" Rose was my best friend ever. She had recently been in a car accident that landed her in the hospital. "She's doing better. She's starting to sit up again" She wasn't sitting up before? "Oh.. That's good" I replied sadly. "Something wrong?" He looks down at me "I.. Didn't know she couldn't sit up.." I whisper quietly. "Oh.. She didn't tell you?" "She didn't tell me anything other than that she had been in an accident and that she'll be ok" "oh well.. I'm going to go see her right now if you'd like to come" "uhhh sure" I sigh as I follow him to his car.
