It was a rainy Saturday afternoon.
I had nothing better to do but watch my my favorite t.v show (Wally's World) and eat unhealthy food. I've seen that episode about a million times. Here comes my favorite part. When the t.v goes red and makes a beeping noise.... Beep, beep, beep ,the screen reads; Please stay inside, and stay calm. I wanted to hear more information so I turned the t.v up. But before the lady on the t.v could give any more information the t.v went black. The power must have been cut. What do I do. I look outside to see if I can see someone outside that could have cut the power or a tree or something that had fallen and cut the power. As i'm looking outside my little sister is behind me freaking out. I took a long hard look out the window and saw nothing, until I hear loud sirens going off and see a man dressed in all black come up the hill. The police sirens following close behind him. The man pulls a gun out of his long black coat and points it at my little sister. Before anything else could happen I fell to the floor crying. It felt like the world stopped spinning and everything was in slow motion. Im only 12 years old and babysitting my little sister for the first time. Why is this happening to me? What did I do to deserve this? As I was laying on the ground I thought about how life would be like without my little sister. Sure we fight but I still love her to death. I couldn't live without her. Sometimes I may say that I don't care about her but I really do.
I stand up and look at my poor little sister standing next to me, a tear rolls down her face. I see the man's finger slip and pull the trigger. I jump in front of my sister and the bullet pierces me right in the chest. I fall to the ground. The pain is increasing and increasing. I can't breath, every breath is a struggle. I see my sister fall to the ground as a tear rolls down her face. All I can see is white. I can hear the man being pushed into the police car and my sister telling me to wake up as she is reaching for thephone.
I take my last gasp of air and with it I say to my sister, I love you and I always have, sorry.
Beep, beep, beep, my alarm clock sounds,"Time to get up Lily, you're going to be late for school" my mom yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
It was a dream only a dream.
I walk downstairs and see my sister sitting at the breakfast table and I just look at her. When we walk out the door to go to school I look at her and say
"Megan."
"What." She replys
"I love you." I say to her.
"I love you to."she says back.
