I do not like Lex Love.
I keep repeating that sentence until I could believe it. Matt's an ass. Honestly. Cam and Matt knew I liked Lex since forever. Kinda of a dick move. And what they did to her and Edwin's relationship? Out of pure jealousy. I love them but come on. You just want to protect her? Maybe be her friend first and not someone just trying to get with her.
Lex slept over Cam's again. Matt wanted to sleep in the room she was sleeping in but Cam said there wasn't enough room. I know Lex has sleeping issues since she went to New York and that stalker came into her room and like tried taking her. I waited to hear her get up. I knew she wouldn't sleep well in a room full of people that can't protect her. NO offence to 5quad but they wouldn't be able to. They couldn't in New York, they called security, while Lex hid in the bathroom. No Lex needs someone to hold her.
I heard someone get up and go to the kitchen. So I got and went to get a drink of water. I saw her sitting by the fridge on the ground. I walked over to her. She flinched at first but realized it was me.
" Couldn't sleep?" I asked.
She nodded.
" I knew you wouldn't be able to sleep. It's okay Lex. I'll protect you." I reassured her. I picked her up and brought her into my room. I held her all night long. She slept like a baby.
In the morning I could tell something was wrong. Everyone stared at me. Some people didn't say anything at all. Like Matt. I don't know why.
"Hey why are they all staring at me and looking pissed?" I asked Lex.
"Because I slept in your room." Then she walked into the kitchen where I guess someone said something because I could hear her yelling.
" I CAN SLEEP IN WHATEVER ROOM I WANT!! I'm fricken 17 years old!! He helped me when I was sitting by the fridge crying,Matthew. Did you do that? No. Point is that Shawn helped me when no one else did. So if you have a problem with that, I guess you have a problem with me." I heard her scream.
"No, wait, Lex." Matt called after her. I heard a door slam. I'm guessing it was Lex walking to her house. Matt walked into my room. I smiled at him.
"What are you smiling about?" Matt scoffed at me.
"We're not 12 anymore Matt. Lex knows what she's doing. If you guys really had a thing going for you, you hurt her more than anything by saying something about her sleeping in my room. She was scared like always last night. So, me being her friend, just made sure she was safe."
" Yeah I guess you have a point. I really shouldn't be mad. You know Lex and I have a thing and you wouldn't do anything to ruin that, right?" Matt questioned.
"Of course I wouldn't. But I think you just messed it up yourself." I told him. He nodded.
