"Hey, let's go home." He said. You opened your eyes and looked up at the boy standing before you. Nodding your head yes, you grabbed your bag and stood up from the tree you rested on.

You guys walked in silence as he smiled and held your hand. "Look, it's a full moon!" He said. "Don't point at it or it'll cut your ear!" You said, giggling slightly. He laughed. "Yeah I know! It's just that... The moon is really pretty," He smiled and looked at you. "just like you." Your face began to get hotter. "I-I'm not pretty..." "Oh yeah, you aren't." He breathed out.

You sighed. "Yeah suuuuure. Thanks for the compliment...." He stopped in his tracks and grabbed your wrist. "You didn't let me finish. You're not pretty, you're beautiful." Your face flushed red. "N-n-no I'm not!" You slapped him lightly on his cheek. "A-anyways! This isn something us kids should be talking about. We need to go back home or else Isabelle will yell at us." The boy laughed heartily. "You're right! I'll race you to the bridge!" He ran off, leaving you in the dust. "H-hey! No fair!" You laughed and started to run after him.
