Chapter 1: Marriage?!

Introduction

Hi, my name is Princess Camilla, I live in a big kingdom where every beautiful, friendly, and mystical creatures live. Technically, I'm half mermaid and half fairy, which means I have both wings and a tail.

I usually go on land to explore. I find lots of weird things from people who have legs. Your probably wondering if I have legs, the answer is no. My father, doesn't let me go to a place where people with legs live. Well, technically I don't always follow the rules that my father tells me, sometimes. And yes, I do live in the ocean. Your probably wondering how I have a village with lots of mystical creatures in the ocean. Well, you see we live by a beach and in a place where people with legs can never see.

Camilla's Pov.

I heard a loud knock on my door.

"Who is it", I said.

"It's Lilly", she said.

"Ok, hold on", I said.

I opened the door and saw my best friend. She wasn't wearing her hair up today, she usually does.

"What's wrong", I said

"What? You don't know, your wedding is today and your not even in your wedding dress." She said.

I was shocked. Nobody had told me I was having a wedding today.

"What the tail, nobody told me, no wonder you look fancy today." " Ugh, I don't wanna go!"

"But you have to.", She said.

"Who is this guy that I'm going to marry?"

"His name is Urchin de Fishtail."Lilly said

"Ugh, not that ugly creep!" "He is full of spikes and when he is next to me, he breaths in my ear, ugh!", I said.

"Well, I'm gonna go now, bye.", she said.

"Ok, bye.", I said. I came swimming back to my bed and fell in a deep sleep.

"Go, this is your chance." Someone said.

"Who's there." I realize I was still asleep.

"I'm your conscience." My conscience said.

I was shocked.

"What chance do I have?" I said

"Your chance is going in a journey." My conscience said.

"Where do I go?" I said.

"It's up to you," My conscience said.

I woke up from a loud noise. I got off of my bed. It was night. I swam to my window, there was nothing there. I heard the noise again, this time, it was somewhere else. I saw a maid outside. Hmm, they usually stay inside. As I watch, I saw her changing to her old self. She is a witch, a young and beautiful one. She threw a sphere shape magic ball on the ground and vanish. I swam out of the window and swam to the place where she was standing at. I found a unusual ring. It had a riddle on it, it said, " You must find the person who will lie, he or she must die." That was very unusual. I saw something rustled behind the seaweed bush, I swam quickly back to my room. I look out at the window. There was a sea monster. It was a odd looking sea monster. It's holding something!

"What is it!" I said to myself. The monster was breathing very hard, until smoke came out of his mouth. He threw the item he was holding on the ground. Then he zapped away.

"That was weird." I said

I swam out again, swimming where he was standing at. Suddenly, one strand of my hair turned blue. But I kept going. There was a box. I opened it, it had a map. It pointed to a unusual place.

The next morning I went to breakfast with my family.

"Camilla dear, next month we will reschedule your wedding, because you didn't come to your last wedding." Mom said.

"But mom..."

"No buts young lady" my dad said. After breakfast, I went to my room, pack up some sea kelp, sea cake, and fish stew with me to a journey to the unusual place. I packed extra seashell bras. I wore warm clothes. I also bought my sharp seashell blade for protection. I brung the map with me, too. I wore my lucky pearl necklace and the ring that I found. Then I swam out of the window. I was hungry, but I kept swimming, I used the map to guide me to the unusual place. My stomach was growling like Ka-Ray-Zee. I stopped by a rock and ate food, Mmmm Mmmm, yummy. My coral crunch tastes so delicious. I was thirsty, so I took out my kelp juice and drank it. Good thing I bought coral and seaweed juice just in case if I was thirsty again. I know I live underwater and surrounded by water, but I myself don't technically drink it.

I examined my blue strand of hair.

"This is odd" I said to myself.

The seaweed rustled behind me.

But I ignored it. Suddenly, another strand of hair turned blue. I shrieked in shock. The rustle started again, but this time louder. Out came a hideous creature, it scrapped my arm. I was bleeding, it breathed in my blood and became bigger as I turned weaker. I grabbed my sharp seashell blade and sliced its tail off.

It whined in pain. It was bleeding so badly, it shrinked and disappeared. I was left sitting there, eyes tearing if pain. I grabbed kelp from the bush and tied up my wound.

I grabbed all my stuff and continued on the journey. I found a nearby underwater cave. I went in and stayed there to rest for the night.

In the morning, I was waked up by a loud clank of chains. I grabbed my blade again, and swimmer towards the chain, something was glowing back there. When I went closer, there was a glowing necklace that said " Truth". It was odd. I snatched it up. It magically wrapped around my neck.
