I'm just sitting here in the woods trying to figure out how to save myself. It's never been done before. There is no record or rumour of someone surviving. I sighed as it started raining. I was still sitting there. I could feel that mark spreading though my body. It's like heat. The mark is the fire and it's going to get hotter the more it's fed. It feeds off of me. Well in this case my husky. It will kill her than me I sighed touching the mark. It was cold. Strange. I thought. My hair was sticking to my face now my cloths drenched I should just kill myself now and get it over with. But that will hurt Scott. I sighed running my hand though my hair. I took my shoes off and socks so all I had on was my shirt and short shorts. I started walking though the woods I found a small pond. I stood there looking at the water.
"Why so sad child?" A female voice said.
"I'm dying because if an amulet goddess and my mate I lied to him saying I have survived before" I said
"Amulet goddess. They aren't deadly." She said laughing. "They give you the power. Most people die because its too much power. Too much strength. They kill themselves because of rumours saying its a painful dead." The lady said.
"Who are you?" I asked
"I'm a water goddess. I use to be an amulet goddess." She said. I looked at the pond seeing a face. "Now if you excuse me the grounds flooded I need to return to the ocean" she said before vanishing. I sighed and started walking back to the house. I walked in and Scott hugged me tight once I had walked in.
"Where have you been. I have been so worried. I tried to find you but the rain" he said holding me tight. I hugged him back.
"I'm fine." I whispered.
"Your dying. I don't want you to leave my side ever again. I'm scared I will lose you" he said.
"I'm not dying Scott. I'm fine now. I said I would fix myself" he nodded pulling back.
"I'm going to have a shower now" I said before going up stairs.
After having a shower I dried off getting dressed. I walked into Scott's office and than into the achieves. I started looking though the books. I found what I was after. 'Water goddess' I grabbed it opening it. 'Water goddesses are a step up from amulet goddesses kind and caring unlike the amulet goddesses the are bound but the water to tell the truth. It's is impossible for them to lie to another supernatural. They are unable to.' I smiled and relaxed putting the book back. I leaned back against the other shelf smiling. I'm fine. So all this worrying was for nothing. I heard someone walk in
"why the hell is this opened?" nick said I walked put a bit but saw he was with a girl. What? I stayed hidden.
"Stella as the future Luna it's your job to study all these books I'll show you how to get in here later tho" nick said. Future Luna? But I'm Scott's mate.
"So what's happening to Bree?" Stella asked.
"She's dying. From an amulet goddess" Scott said walking in. "She has read most of these books already tho. And from reports. She is holing to die I'm a year." Scott added pulling out a book. He sighed looking at it. It's about husky shifters. And out growth. He is unable to read it tho. It's got secrets in it that only husky's should know about do the writing is invisible to all eyes. But husky's.
"She said she would read this book for me and she's disappeared again."
"It's alright Scott. I'm not here to replace her. I'm just here to help run the pack" Stella said. Scott nodded. I looked down at the ground.
"I know your not trying to replace her. But he is" Scott said looking at his father. Ben walked in with bell and Ella.
"So your the one who will take over when my sister dies?" Ben said. Stella nodded. Ben sighed.
"What? Bree is dying?" Ella said worried.
"Yes Ella. Bree is dying. Man amulet goddess had touched her" Ben said. I looked at the book on amulets goddesses. I grabbed it opening it up to the page about cursing. I read over it there is nothing in the book about dying. I glared walking out shoving the book in Scott's arms leaving. I got to my room and sat on my bed looking out the window. I growled shifting to my husky puppy curling up under my bed in my circle of teddy bears that I keep hidden under here.
"Bree" Scott said walking in the book in hand. "Bree if your in here please I'm sorry for not believing you. I was worried because no ones ever survived an amulet goddess. Not in any records tho. I guess I was that caught up in my worry I just agreed to what my father said. I'm sorry" I made a snort he looked under my bed at me. I turned away from him. "You almost look like one of the teddy bears" he said. I growled. He chuckled "come on Bree. Come out please" I didn't move. "Do I have to come under and get you?" He asked. I glared in his direction. He smiled at me. I turned my back on him. "well let me know when your done with your little tantrum" he said standing up I walked out shifting back
"I'm sick and tiered of being ignored Scott. If you listened once or twice you would know when to worry. Now get the hell out of my room!" I yelled. He just hugged my naked body.
"You know. When your made your eyes turn into a soft calming green so it makes up look upset" he said. I pushed him off shifting back crawling under my bed. Scott knelt down looking at me. "I'm sorry" he said softly. "I just. I'm sorry" he sighed. I growled at him he sighed again. "I'll come back later" he whispered leaving.
