I'm sure you've read a lot of these adopted stories but seriously, this one is just crazy. I never imagined my life to change so much in the space of one day. Wait! Am I confusing you? I'm probably confusing you! Let's go back to yesterday morning, when everything in my life changed dramatically.
It was just a normal day in the orphanage, doing the same old stuff. Honestly I feel like a robot! Wake up... Go to school... Homework... Sleep... You know the usual stuff. Except today was different, I could feel it in my stomach. I woke up feeling really good, like something amazing was going to happen.
'Can you all come to the meeting room please?'
That was Miss Chandler. She's the owner of this place and she is one of the nicest care workers you'll ever meet. I don't know how I would have coped in this place without Miss Chandler and my best friend, Daisey. Daisey is one of the most gorgeous and down to earth girls I know. She could easily model for Victoria's Secret. Anyways, I ran downstairs, meeting Daisey at the bottom. We walked into the meeting room to be faced with the rest of the kids, looking extremely tired. I really didn't care about this meeting and by the looks of everyone else, they didn't either.
'So kids, today we are having some amazing guests coming. They are looking to adopt one of you! So because of this, you are all getting the day off school. I suggest you get yourselves going to your rooms to get ready as the guests will be here shortly.'
We all quickly raced up to ours rooms, me and Daisey quickly went to my room. If you can't tell already, we are extremely excited to have guests coming. We don't get that many people coming to adopt so this is really good news for all the orphans.
'Who do you think the guests are? Imagine if its a celebrity! Omg imagine if its Orlando Bloom or Justin Bieber!! We would be cel-' I was quickly interrupted by Daisey.
'Seriously Kalani, you live in a dream land! You know that they'll probably take one look at us all and walk straight out of the door again!'
'Come on dais! I've got a good feeling about today. I have a feeling that it's actually going to be good for both of us as well'
'Yeah right'
'Lets just get ready and PLEASEEEEE try and make an effort'
'YES MOM' Daisey said sarcastically as she left to go to her room. ----------------------------------------
