Chapter 1: The Beginning



10 years ago...

I was wandering through a city i've never been in before.

The city was so big. It had many apartments and buildings.

Then i walked to a sign that says, "Magnolia".

"I've heard this name before.. My mom and dad told me something about this place. There's a guild in here for mages." I smiled.

I was so excited to find the guild that i kept running around the city just finding for it. I stopped by a bridge because i was tired. I looked down, placed my hands on my knees and breathed heavily. Suddenly, I heard heavy footsteps coming towards me.

Before i could look up, a person bumped to me making me fall down the bridge.

Luckily, i grabbed on to the fence of the bridge and yelled,

"Help! Help me please." As a tear fell down my eye.

My hand was about to slip when...

"Grab my hand!"

A voice said.

I grabbed the hand and it pulled me upwards.

I sighed.

"Phew!" A person said.

I looked at him. He had black shaggy hair, droopy eyes and he was upper naked. He had the same age as me and he was also my height.

"What do you mean "phew"?!, you almost killed me out there!"

I yelled intensely.

"Are you okay? Im so sorry." He said as he looked down.

"Sigh." I lifted my hand and.. "Angel. Angel Himenshi."

I said with a smile on my face.

He looked straight to my eyes and stared at me like i was a god or something.

He kept staring at me.

"Umm... Hello?"

He finally snapped out of the trance and answered me.

"I'm Gray, Gray Fullbuster." He said as he grabbed my hand and shook it.

"Im sorry but im in a hurry!" He yelled. "Bye and sorry!" He continued as he ran away.

I slowly got up and saw a wound on my knee. It was deep and it kept bleeding. I wiped it with my dress and continued finding the guild.

4 minutes passed and before i knew it, i was in front of a huge building which had a sign on it.

"Fairy Tail"

I smiled as my heart started to pound and my hand started shake.

" should i go in? Or should i just stay here and wait."

Questions went inside my head as i continued to stare at the building.

"Alright. Im going in."

I said with my voice shaking.

I first peeked inside as I see a lot of people partying.

"Wow..."

I stared happily.

Then a girl with white hair noticed me and started walking up to me in the door. She opened the door and looked at me. Her hair was pony tailed with a purple bow and she wore purple clothes.

"Oi, get in here." She said as she opened the door wide enough for me to be seen by the people inside.

"Uummm.." I said looking down.

A small man went beside her and he wore weird clothes.

"Are you lost? " He asked me. "Yes." I answered while still looking down.

" Welcome!" He shouted.

I suddenly looked up and saw people staring at me while drooling.

"Th-thanks." I smiled.

I continued to walk with the guild master "Makarov". They gave me the guild insignia in my right shoulder that was colored dark blue.

"Please feel at home in here cause we are now your family." He smiled.

"Oh yeah, what was your name?" He continued.

"Angel. Angel Himenshi." I answered.

His eyes widened as i looked around and the people's eyes started to widen also.

"C-could you be the daughter of Daniel and Jasmine Himenshi?!"

"Y-yes. Do you know them?" I asked as my eyes widened.

"Who could not know them?!" A voice from behind yelled.

He had red shaggy hair and wore a scale-like white scarf.

"Their the most famous wizards in the world." He continued.

"D-do you know where they are?!" I asked in shock.

"What do you mean?" Master asked.

"They never returned to our house 3 months ago from an S-Class mission." I frowned as i started to tear up.

"No one would read stories to me or sing a lullaby when i couldn't sleep." I continued.

"I see. Well, a kid like you shoudn't worry about that for now."

"B-but.."

"No. I will take care of finding your parents. For the meantime, you go make friends and go on jobs for your daily needs." He smiled.

"Ok!" I answered. Then two boys went to me and introduces theirselves.

"Oh yeah! I'm Natsu."

"I'm Happy."

My eyes widened as i saw the cat near natsu fly and talk!

"You talk?!" I yelled.

"Aye!" He answered with a really cute voice.

"O-okay then..."

The other boy looked familiar. He was looking back because he was talking to a person then natsu bumped him with his elbow to make him introduce himself.

"Oh sorry. I'm G-" he stopped as our eyes both widened.

"You!" We said in unison.

"You know each other?!" Natsu asked.

"You were the one earlier!" I said.

"Y-yeah."

"So i see that you both know each other." He said. "Angel! Would you like to go on a job with us?" He asked me.

"Sure!"

"Let's make a team, you, me, Gray and Happy!" He smiled.

"Okay."
