"I have lost lots of friends as i grow up, but losing him was the worst"

No matter how many times i've tried to deny,
No matter how many times my lips has lied,
My heart knows.

I was truly, madly, deeply in love with my best friend.
I fell in love with the way his small eyes get even smaller when he laughs or smiles.
I fell in love with the way he pays attention to my stories.
I fell in love with the way he laughs at his own jokes

People said that, falling in love with your best friend is the best thing.

I've seen some good stuffs about it.

But none of it told me about my number one problem,

What if he doesn't feel the same way?
What if he doesn't think about having you more than a best friend?

I truly believe that it's the best thing when the two feel the same

But then i realized that it is the worst thing when the other feel nothing.

He felt nothing

i kept it low key because so that i wont lose him.

But then the friendship gets awkward, because i caught feelings.

Our friendship starts to fade because he also started to change.

and then even without me telling him how i feel, i still lose him anyway.

and i miss him. I miss my best friend

and my heart just hurts whenever i think of the old memories.

I want him back so bad but i can't do anything about him.

Because he had a new replacement.

He had his new kind of "me"

and thats how i lost my bestest friend

and i learnt that

If you fall in love with someone, you have to tell them. If they felt the same, then good. If they dont, then its okay at least you've let them know.

telling them the truth even if its risky is better than not telling them anything at all because you're too afraid.

Because some relationships weren't meant to stay forever. You'll lose them anyway if  you weren't made for each other. So just let it go.
