"Violet, you're not going to that party tonight!" mum shouted. "I'm not gonna let you get abducted—or dead!" "Mum, you know I'm not that kind of girl, and, I have Autumn to keep me out of trouble." Autumn wouldn't actually keep me out of trouble. She's my best friend, so I am allowed to say that she'd have sex with anyone if she got tipsy enough. "Well then, you can hang out with Autumn instead of the party." "I will."
Yeah, no. I was going to that party, and Autumn was going to help me get there. We had a text conversation to plan everything out:

Me: help!! Mum won't let me go tonight! I'm screwed!
Autumn: Don't worry. We'll set up a fake phone call on speaker so your mum thinks your coming to my house tonite.

I walked into the kitchen where my mum was heating up vegan pizza and called Autumn. "Hey Autumn, I can't go to the party tonight. You'll have to go without me." "Don't worry, I can't go either. How about you come here instead?" "Sounds good!" I hung up.
Mum bought it and later, Autumn came over to drive me to the party. I told myself I wasn't gonna get drunk, but I lost it. I wanted to have fun. The only thing I remember from that night was being grabbed and pulled out of the party.
