The thoughts spun wildly through Nash's mind. I can't believe I'm doing this. Today is the day. I can do this,
I can do this. He buttoned up his red and black flannel and nervously went downstairs. He saw his roommate Cameron and took a deep breath.
"Hey Nash!" Cameron greeted him cheerfully.
"Hey." Nash replied taking another deep breath. "Could I ask you something?"
"Of course" Cameron said, worry flooding his voice. The two boys sat down next to each other on they're red leather sofa.
"I...I...I was wondering." Nash stammered, his hands shaking tremendously. "I have feelings for you Cameron!" Nash blurted out suddenly, tears streaming down his face. He rubbed his hand roughly under his eyes and looked cautiously at Cameron. Nash's heart skipped a beat when he saw he was smiling. Did he feel the same way? Or was he trying to cheer him up? Nash cleared his throat.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't of been so direct..."
"Don't be sorry Nash, I've felt the same way since the day I laid eyes on you." Cameron huffed. He seemed like someone had winded him and to Nash's surprise he started crying. Nash took hold of Cameron's hand and said with a joyful expression "I love you Cam."
"I love you too Nash." His eyes seemed to glow like stars in the countryside. "That's why I asked you to move in with me. At first I thought it was brotherly love but I realized it was more than that, I just never got up the nerve to tell you."
