Spring took over the land and April turned into May. Well, to be honest, spring SHOULD have taken over the land by now. But the weather didn't seem to want to.
It had just been a really bad spring this year and I could only pray for some sun.
So I sat in my flat with Jam, Emily and Gus and we discussed what we should wear for the, well we called it pre-premiere but it was just a party Scott had invited all the actors to to cheer them up a little.
And I had to admit it worked quite well because last week it had been tech week and we all loved to have a bit of distraction from all the stress.
"Do you think," Emily asked "it's okay not to come in like, a super fancy dress? Because I don't really have one."
"No. I'm not gonna wear one either." Jamila said and Gus added: "Save your dress for the premiere when Prince Harry is coming."
"But I still don't know what to wear." I moaned.
"Well I'm gonna go with black trousers a plain shirt and a bowtie. Quite classy. But that doesn't help you quite a lot, does it?"
I tried to imagine Gus wearing a bowtie and I had to admit that I thought he was gonna look great in it.
"Well, good choose, Gus. But you're right. It doesn't help uns an inch." Em agreed with him and took a sip of her tea.
I was just about to suggest calling Tom (He's always time for style-questions. He'd rather die than see one of us going to a party and being underdressed.) when my mobile rang.
It was Scott. Because I didn't want to distract the others I went into the bathroom and answered the phone.
"Hey Scott."
"Oh great that I got you, Scar!" As if I'd never pick up my phone. Well, okay SOMETIMES I didn't hear it especially when I was reading but really only sometimes.
"So," he talked on "I just wanted to tell you that Jamie said he'd come to the party tonight."
I had to think for a few seconds before I actually remembered who Jamie was. Right, the guy who would probably play one of the male leads in Scott's new play.
"So... Did Mr Mastin agree on the play then?" It wasn't really a question because I'd heared the answer in his voice before.
"Yes!" I could practically see Scott's grin through the mobile. "I already asked Mrs Nightham to translate it and we should start with the backdrop in a few days."
"Okay. Thanks for telling me. I'll tell Gus, he's just at my place anyway."
"Great. Then until tonight and greet Gus from me."
"I will. Bye."
And with that I ran back into the kitchen. "Greetings from Scott." I breathed. "Gus, the play is on!"
Of course I had told the others about the new play although Scott had told me not to tell anyone until it was sure. But as Gus had said before, if I say I'm not gonna tell anyone that doesn't include my best friends.
We all hugged and screamed and Em even jumped of excitement. When we then all had calmed down a bit Jamila said in a complete sober tone: "And now back to the clothes..."

I sat up and opened my eyes. I just would have loved to throw my phone against the next wall at this moment.
Damn, why did this crappy thing wake me up at half eleven in the morning on a saturady when we once DIDN'T have rehearsal?
Then I remembered. Right, today was the pre-premiere! Slowly, to not wake the others, I shuffeled into the bathroom and took a shower.
