All Love Returns Home

Surprise!

My name is Cain. I'm 18 years of age and I go to Olivewood High School. I have brown hair and green eyes. I am pale and I have freckles littered all over my skin. Nothing too special I might say.

Most people don't pay to much attention to me and I like it that way. Most people at my school know my name but choose to ignore me. I have decent parents, can't complain. They feed me and protect me. They accept my lifestyle of being gay. If you consider that a lifestyle.

One thing though is I have, or well had is a better way of saying it, a boyfriend. His name is Darren. He has black short hair with beautiful...no...gorgeous blue eyes. He wasn't pale or tan but somewhere inbetween. His skin was flawless no blemishes or scars. He looked like a god from a fairytale. But that's how all people describe their love isn't it. But everything's been said so gonna have to live with it.

Well getting back to what I was saying is he disappeared. Yeah you heard me. He disappeared. Suddenly. Out of nowhere. Poof! Gone. About a week from my birthday too. Lovely right? Guess should have seen it coming. With the typical way of saying this that has been said countless times. My love life sucks ass. I mean nothing wrong with sucking ass if you like it but you get what I mean.

Well right now it's around 12:45 in the morning. I'm at school but all the students have been held up in the gym for about an hour now. I hate crowded noisy areas. But so does everyone else right. Again nothing new.

But suddenly the principal came out with the mic and said. "Cain Wilson! Cain Wilson! To the front office please." I sighed and got up grabbing my backpack and started heading towards the door right as they were bringing a giant box with a ribbon tied around it in it. I sighed and left walking to the office.

When I got there my parents were there to greet me. Surprisingly, because usually they call up to check me out and I drive home from there. I walk up to my dad and ask. "What are you doing here? Did someone die?" He chuckles a deep chuckle and shakes his head. I looked over at my mom confused. Why was she so giddy? Stop bouncing you are gonna hurt yourself.

A few minutes went by of me questioning my parents and them refusing to let me leave before they told me and my family to come into the gym. I tilted my head completely confused, but walked in anyways.

Once we entered the gym it got quiet. It seemed everyone knew what was going on but me. Oh well not the first time. I shrugged and my dad lead me towards the giant box in the middle of the floor. Some kid named Jake who seemed to run all events at our school had the mic and said, "Okay Cain, the school has a big surprise for you. Open this box to see what it is. Take your time." I sighed and looked at it. It was giant gift box that had yellow wrapping and blue ribbon tied around it. It could fit a human inside it.

I sighed and looked around everyone was looking at me intensely. I grabbed the ribbon and slowly pulled it undone. I sighed seeing I had to rip off the paper and started to carefully peel it off. Everyone was deadly silent.  Soon the box opened and revealed a note.

A giant box for a tiny note. I pushed my hair back taking the note and opening it. When I opened it confetti shot out of it scaring me and making everyone giggle. I brushed off the confetti and looked at the note.

Turn around love.

Love? Why is a piece of paper calling me love? Why is it telling me to turn around? I sigh and turn around. The sight before me makes me fall to my knees. I look up to see the one man in my life I haven't seen for 4 months. The man that disappeared without a trace. The man I said I love you to every night. The man with the silky black hair and beautiful blue eyes. Darren. I saw Darren.

He knelt down by me and held his arms out and I jumped into them forgetting all the bad things. I was just so happy I could finally see my lover again. I cried while cheers and claps surrounded us. Oh god how I missed him so much. I moved my face from his shoulder and kissed him repeatedly. He smiled kissing me back. I couldn't really see from the blur of my tears but I heard him whisper. "I'm back my love. I'm sorry I left." I shook my head and hugged him tightly.

~Few hours later-

I was outside the school with Darren glaring at nothing. He was sitting next to me trying to apologize. After the gym surprise I realized what happened and begun to feel anger towards him. "Love, I'm sorry I left but it was an emergency. I'm sorry I didn't call or text I was just so busy." I looked away ignoring him. He then pulled me to his chest and I grumbled as he kissed the top of my head. "I promise I will explain it all to you very soon.." I sighed and just relaxed into the embrace and nodded. "You have a lot of explaining to do..."
