Dear Diary,

I felt that today was the same as the other days. Filled with the same people, same emotions, same memories. It's been a year since my life changed, but lately everything feels the same. I don't understand how someone you loved so deeply could disappear from your life like that. My love for him will never change and I will never forget him but each day makes it harder to remember the way he used to make me feel. His delicate touch used to make me crumble as if a earthquake had hit me. Now everything feels as if nothing ever happened. Today is the day that I will finally try and grip onto the memories that have bestowed themselves upon me. Hopefully with each touch of ink to this paper, my love for him will be remembered by the people who read this book. The story of how my heart was ripped from my chest be will laid out on this paper. This diary will be filled with all the memories that have been chained in my mind. I'm finally ready to tell you the story of a simple girl who fell in love with a complicated guy with a complicated past.
