Chapter 1- Moving day

*Ashley's pov*
I wake up to a loud beeping noise in my ear. "Ugh" I say and snooze my alarm. I lay in bed for a few minutes on my phone before I hear my mom yelling from downstairs "ASHLEY WAKE UP NOW!!" She yells. "I AM AWAKE, I'll be down in a minute." I say back.

I get dressed in some black leggings and a navy blue crop top and do my make up. I always get hate for how much make up I wear but I don't feel pretty without it.

I get downstairs and eat a bowl of froot loops for breakfast. "Hi sweetie, did you have a nice sleep last night? We got a big day ahead of us." My mom says as I shovel another scoop of cereal into my mouth. I Finnish chewing and say "yes mom, I'm so excited to move to Virginia today!" I finish eating and go to my room to grab the light boxes I can carry. After the moving guys show up they bring the rest of my mom and I's things into the moving van.

"ASHLEY, come on honey we have to get to the air port." My mom says. I was in my room face timing my friends to say my last good byes.

I finally get down stairs and get in the car and we head to the air port. All of our things would be at the house already by the time we made it there.

Before we board the plane I check my social medias (Instagram, musical.ly, Twitter) and I update my snapchat story. "Hey guys, I'm about to board the plane to Virginia. I'm so exited to move but I'll miss all my friends so much, love you guys!" I say and put that on my story.

"Flight 375" blares through the speakers and my mom and I get ready to board the plane.

~Skips plane ride~

We get to Virginia and it seems so different from where I'm from (Ohio) but I have a feeling I'm gonna like this change.

We get into our car and drive for about 30 minutes from the airport to our new house. I ran inside to find the most beautiful house I could ever imagine myself living in and I ran upstairs to choose a room.

I most of my things unpacked and decide to go for a walk through the neibour hood. "It's such a beautiful day" I say quietly to myself and I hear someone behind me say "I totally agree." I look back and see a cute guy with the most handsome smile behind me. "Hi I'm Jacob" he says with that cute some I can't get enough of. "Hi I'm Ashley" I say back.

We ended up walking and talking for a while and I looked up to notice it was pitch black outside. "Jacob, can you walk me home is really dark out and I don't know how to get home from here" I say. "I just moved from Ohio and this is all so new to me" I add on. "It would be my pleasure" Jacob says and bows to me and I let out a small chuckle.

We walk home and find out Jacob and I are neibours. "Bye Jacob" I say cutely and blush up at him. "Wait Ashley, what's your number? I want to text you later on" Jacob askes me. "My number is ***-***-****" I say. I start to turn around to walk into my house when Jacob pulls me into a tight hug. "Thanks for you number, I really hope we can hang out again some time." "I hope so too Jacob, text me when you have the chance tonight I gotta go home now" I say and Jacob nods his head and we both walk into our houses.
