"Awaken, my princess" The soft voice said, as soft as silk. I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't, as if boulders were over them.
"I see, not yet. My princess" The voice said, and I was lost in the darkness again
|* Mavis' POV *|
The guild members of Fairy Tail were on a boat, rocking in front of me. My feet hovered over the water, I urged them to follow as I led them to where the island stood in the ocean as I lifted it to the surface.
Their awed faces made me smile, as I let them embark on Tenrou, leading them with a swish of my blond locks. I led them to where the water dragonslayer had muttered so much, to where a pink headed dragonslayer lay stuck in the dirt. They quickly ran to him, excavating him from the earth, he awoke from the long 7 year sleep. His onyx eyes looking around for the rest of his friends.
I then led through the large island to all of his friends, except the water dragonslayer.
Once they had found them all the pink headed mage looked at them all, his eyes saddening as he did not find the water dragonslayer.
He looked towards me, and I nodded, I walked back into the foliage and I could tell he made a excuse to follow me, I took him to the tenrou tree, where I had made a small area. For the water dragonslayer to lay.
A small den was made in the Tenrou tree, it's high ceilings covered with roots. A small chandelier was high in the middle of the ceiling giving the atmosphere light. A kitchen out of wood was in the left corner, and a hallway next to it led somewhere else. Wood couched and a table was in the middle of the room. And to the right a brewing table with ingredients and cauldrons lay on a stone table. Next to it lay the dragonslayer. On her mossy bed. Her brown hair in a French braid. Her pale skin even more white, like winter snow in the light of the chandelier. The fire dragonslayer stayed in the doorway admiring the den.
He walked in, and his eyes locked on to the brunette laying on the mossy bed, he ran to her bedside.
"I-Is she ok?" He said, sniffling.
"Yes, but she is barely alive. She too hasn't aged" I replied, coming around to grab some leaves I had collected from the plants here.
"Will she be ok?" he asked, his tears splashing onto her pale cheeks.
"In good care and time, yes" I said.
He smiled a weak smile as he took her hand in his, a small color rose to her cheeks, a faint blush and he let out a small laugh.
"You can come every so often, I will be taking care of her" I said to the fire dragonslayer.
"Thank you, first master" He cried, putting a hand to his eyes as he cried.
I placed the leaves in a bowl and I smashed them, grinding them into a powder.
"But I may ask of you sometimes to get me ingredients to help her" I said, pouring the pieces in a jar.
"I will do anything for her" he said.
"Oh and I have a surprise for you" I said, I led him to a different part of the little house in the tree. A small room, where a small child with pink locks stood playing with fire and water.
Bowls lay in the middle of her room, which consisted of a bed and a desk. And various books on a wooden bookshelf. I had gotten them for her of course, I had left Jewels after I got them. So i didn't technically steal them. Plus you can't really blame a ghost for thievery.
The bowls separated by space as she stood in the middle of them. Her eyes closed as she concentrated, even for a young girl she was a little prodigy. Her pink hair was curled at the ends, and her small face held a brilliant pair of blue onyx eyes. She raised her left hand which brought water to rise, it's movements like a snake, as her right lifted and a flame danced on the end of her fingertips. She raised them above her head and they collided. Making a ball of water and fire. But the fire dragonslayer didn't see while he was struggling to wipe away his tears.
"Her name is Nima" I said, her head turned as she looked at the fire dragonslayer, his tears increased as she ran to him.
"Daddy!" She squealed.
"This is my daughter?" He looked at me and I nodded, he fell to the ground and embraced the small girl.
He cried, knowing he had a family to take care of.
"But you can't tell anyone in the guild about them" I warned.
"Why not"
"You see, Nima was born during the seven year sleep, but she has aged. And it would be weird for a 18 year old wizard to have a 7 year old daughter. You must wait until I explain everything to Naomi" I said.
He nodded in understanding as he played with the Young girl.
"What kind of magic does she use?" He asked me.
"Watch" I nodded to the small girl.
She let her hand out, and a small ball of water and fire mixed into it. He looked at her in awe as she stood and enveloped herself in fire and water, they swirled in the air. She let it out and she sat back down playing with the small squirrel she met.
"Wow... How?" He asked, and I shrugged.
"You have to go now, they will start to wonder where you went"
"Yea, but one last question. How does she know I'm her father?" He asked.
"She has powers you don't even know, and I don't want to explain them now. Another day perhaps but you must return to Fairy Tail now" I said, leading him out with Nima alongside me, he hugged her one last time and kissed her cheek as he walked off.
"Mavis, when will Mama wake up?" Nima asked quietly.
"Soon child, the princess of the sea will awaken soon. Now come along, your going to help me make dinner"
