INTRO
Back many moons ago there was a child born to the dark spirit Xiu. Her child was named Amarante. Xiu was not dark in the evil sense but in the sense that it was not light. The moon spirit Mieng Yue was enraged with jelousy when she heard of the child's birth. So Mieng Yue turned the people in the tribe against Xiu. "Xiu will take you crops and burn them before your eyes" she told the tribes-men. "She hates you all! She has stolen a child from the river tribe!" The tribe believed every lie Mieng Yue told and thus they waged war on Xiu.
"What are you doing?!" Xiu yelled when the tribes-men grabbed Amarante. "Taking this child back to the river tribe!" The tribe leader said "LET HER GO!" Xiu screamed at the top of her lungs. Xiu unknowing what they were going to do with her daughter ran to Mieng Yue "Help Me Please!! The Tribe-men they are taking my daughter!" Mieng Yue snickered in delight "I'm sorry it had to come to this Xiu". Mieng Yue grabbed Xiu and put a dagger in her heart.
Amarante was found by the river by a old man of the name of Chun Lin. And he has raised her as his own for the last 17 years.
