At first, I didn't know what the letters meant. I thought it was some sort of prank. I thought it would die down, and the person that was sending me the letters would stop. But then the letters kept getting weirder and weirder and I started to notice a pattern.

The letters didn't seem at all realistic but at the same time, they did.

This anonymous person wanted to control my future.

And I let them.

Why?

Because I wanted an adventure. I wanted to do something with my life. I didn't want to spend the rest of my life in New York, living in a small apartment.

Also because it seemed like I didn't have a choice.

But why was I getting these letters?

I was just a normal, 18 year old girl.

But maybe, just maybe.... it was fate.
