I'm An Alcatraz

Chapter 2~ A new beginning

                 

                           I can't believe it! Did i not scare her enough?! She has to be nuts to choose you as her daughter! Hey! Adria you are not helping! Ok i need to think this through!

                      "Do you guys mind if i talk to my BEST FRIEND Romy?" I asked with venom in every word. "Sure." replied Max and Jazmine at the same time a little offended and surprised at the venom in my voice. I looked at Romy and pointed to the kitchen. 

                   "Ok so what do you want to do. It's really up to you. We can escape now and we'll easily get away or w- w- we ca- can g- go with them..." I said stuterring at the last few words because i'm disgusted by other werewolfs. " I think we should go with them. I mean if we run away Max might catch up to me. I think he's an alpha so he probbably will and plus we have no where to go AND going with them might somehow help our plan to destroy the council." said Romy.

                 She had a VERY good point. Romy also wanted revenge, she wanted to kill the council because they also killed her parents. They killed them because Romy's parents had a lot of land and were very powerful. The council wanted the land and they were getting scared at how strong Romy's parents were getting so they killed them. She was the pack that was south of ours. She thought the same as me and ended up in the orphanage. That's how we met.

                     "You have a really good point but Romy you know how i am around people, especially with 'family' and i just can't take it. I still haven't gotten over my parents death and you know that i can't go with them. If we start a family i'll start caring and loving them and i can't do that because 1. I'll but them in danger and 2. i have to remain careless, i can't care about anyone or love anyone. You are the ONLY EXCEPTION." I told her in and annoyed voice. " Don't worry Belle i'll help you get throught it. I promise to help you remain a heartless cold bitch." she said in a confident voice. "WOW THANKS." Well That was nice of her to say! "Im just kidding you know i lov- car- you are perfect and amazing!." She said. She cut herself of from saying 'i love you'  or 'i care about you' because i don't do well with those phrases. The last people who told me that where my parents and well now they're dead.

                    "Fine i'm trusting you Romy.... I guess we should  go now...come on." I told her. We made our way back to the entrance room. Max and Jazmine were talking to Sophia. I listened in on the conversation. HELL NO! Max was asking Sophia how she found me! I had to interrupt them! I ran to Sophia. "Well, guess what?! Me and Romy are very excited to join your f- fa- family!" I said. "Well that great! We can't wait until you meet the pac- I mean your new brother!" said Jazmine. "Yah.. so when do we leave?" I asked nicely. The sooner the better."The sooner the better." replied Max. Holy shit did he read my mind or something? "Great then i guyess me and Romy will go pack our things!" i said trying to sound happy even thought i hated myself for agreeing to this.

                      "Come on Romy let's go pack!" I said fakely smiling at her. She put her 'i'm sorry for making you do this face'. I grabbed her hand and pulled her upstairs. When we made it to the hallway we decided to do one of our little competitions. Usually it was to see who could get dressed faster but this time it was to see who could pack faster. I made my way into my room and packed all of my clothes as fast as possible. I also packed my toothbrush, towel, makeup, and contacts. I switched to my favorite contacts that where an almost golden brown but they looked 'normal'. I had to wear contacts because if i got mad i couldn't risk anyone seeing my scary, golden, eyes. I was almost done.

                      All i had left to pack was my jewelry. I went over to my closet and all the way at the top to the right was where i kept my most precious jewelry. I got the box and put it down on my bed. It was about half the size of a shoe box. It was a dark velvet color with rubies around the sides.

                    I opened it and let all the memories slip out. A tear slipped my eye and flowed down my face. I picked up my golden locket. I opened it. On the left side it said 'Be Proud'  and on the right it said 'Alcatraz'. It's dangerous to have it around but it's the only memory i have of my family. I put it back. There was also three golden charm bracelets, a golden ring, another golden necklace with the alcatraz family simbol that has a blue diamond in it, a letter which a haven't opened and a golden key which i haven't found out what it's for. I closed the box and out it in my black leather side bag. So all i had in total was one suitcase and my side bag. Better get going before i loose the competition.

                    Right when i opened my door, Romy opened hers. "Dam it!" We both said in unision. "Are we always going to tie?" she asked. "I guess so" We burst out laughing. We couldn't help it we were just weird like that. After our little laughing fit we locked arms. "Ready?" she asked. "Better than ever" I replied. "Then what are you waiting for? Lets go!"
