"I think we should take a break." Jett says quietly.
"What, why, everything is fine?!" I say with panic in my tone.
"We are always fighting over stupid stuff and then we make up. Maybe we just need some space." He gives me sheepish smile.
"That can't be the only reason. Please don't do this, Jett." I wince.
"I'm so sorry, I just think it would be the best for the both of us if we took a break, I'm not saying permanent, just a minor thing." He says reassuringly.
"Your probably right. I'm just gonna take a shower really quick too calm down a little bit." I say looking toward my feet.
"I get it, I'm gonna go get some food though." He says.
"Hhmm." I huff silently.
I step out of the shower and look at myself in the mirror. I think of Carter randomly and I get dressed to walk over to his room, he yells come in right after I knock on the door.
"Carter? Can I talk to you?" I ask him quietly.
"Jewls?! What are you doing over here, what do you need to talk about?" He replies getting of his bed walking over to me. He tries to put his hands on my shoulders but I step away before he does, I fold my arms looking at the ground.
"I don't know what to do." I pause for a moment. "Jett and I, Jett wanted to take a break." I wince.
"I'm sorry to here that, but why did you come to me?" He questioned with confusion.
"Because you and I both know that no matter what happens we'll always be friends." I say looking up at him with a small smile.
" well, I can't argue with that." He says smiling. "And I'm so sorry, I did want to be back with Tessa and we aren't, it's just when we see each other all the feelings that I had for her come back." He says with sorrow in his voice and in his eyes.
"I know, that you lost your lost your virginity together. Both of you lost it together." I say with a slight sob.
"What?! How did you find out?!" He says with almost anger and confusion.
"Tessa told me." I responded as he walked toward me getting ready to explain himself. "She tricked you, it's ok she said you wanted to save it for someone special but she tricked into thinking you had the one girl that was special."
"I was saving it for you." He quietly whispered.
"I have to go." I say walking away. "Bye Carter, I love you like a brother." I say with a smirk. He just stands there frozen and then I here him laugh a little, so I walk down to the cafeteria and freeze when I see Jett. I have no idea what I should do. Talk to him. Act like none of this happened. Or just cry like I always do because I'm an emotional wreck.
