Why?

(Yami's pov)

"why would you do this when you know he has at least one friend who will be looking for him?" yami says staring at little Yugi who is now in his arms. I stare a little before leaving a little note on a nearby tree telling him that he had to go pee. but just then is when I noticed my new found love for this mortal but I the feeling was thrown away as I have been told that love will destroy a vampire. I took Yugi to my home and fed him my blood and then waited for him to wake up. As he started to wake up I covered his mouth and nose with a napkin that had some sleeping herbs on and took him home. ( I knew that he was still a mortal as I could hear his heartbeat).

(general pov)

Yugi tosses and tunes in his bed until he wakes up from a nightmare.

"aaaaaaaaaaaaaagh." Yugi screams

" I just dreamt that me and Joey were walking in the park and then I saw that guy who said that he was yami and another guy came out bit my neck and then snapped it." Yugi says not noticing yami stood in the window frame. Yugi looks down and notices that he is sweating, so he changes into something else when he notices bite marks on his neck.

"was that a dream or not??? Could yami and his friend truly be vampires??? Are they the monsters??? I NEED to KNOW NOW!!!" Yugi says as he changes his bed from the wet bedding to dry one's.

(Yugi's pov)

What??? The time is 2:30pm??? Hmmm I'm going to find Joey and see what is going on!!! I go over to joys house but just before I knock on the door Joey walks up behind me.

" hey you ditched me." Joey says with frustration " I thought you were my friend but obviously not!"

" hey we are friends I just woke up I think I passed out." I reply defensively.

"oh he must of taken you home then. Hey sorry for two things for thinking that you ditched and for running to the sweet shop on you." Joey says feeling bad about his actions.

" its ok but as THAT was real!!!" Yugi blurts out almost fainting.

" yeah why?" Joey asks

" we need to go to the police. NOW!!! " Yugi says gesturing Joey to show him the way.

(general POV)

Yugi follows Joey to the hospital but, as they get one corner away yami is stood in there way.

" what do you think your doing in my way get out of the way now!" Yugi says furious with yami.

" wait let me explain here take my hand both of you." yami demands. Yugi and Joey grab onto Yami's hand as they all zoom into the middle of nowhere.

" I am a vampire and vampires need to drink blood to survive I was only taking one person feeding a little erasing their memory and letting them go but, I didn't realise that my friend Odeon was back. He is the one killing people." yami explains. "please don't tell anyone. See I helped you. You could of died if it wasn't for me or you could of turned into a vampire."

" oh if you put it that way. I won't tell any one but you have to sort Odeon out. Ok." Yugi reply's as Joey agrees.

" ok then I will. I'll take you back now." yami says whooshing Joey back and not yami.

" why didn't you take me back?" Yugi asks yami feeling a little scared.

" answer me truthfully or I will compel you to Tell the truth." yami says with a straight face

"ok I will." Yugi says concerned and slightly scared

"is there something that you are hiding from me?" yami asks as Yugi lets out a big gulp.
