When Saturday finally came, Reed still hadn't texted or call me. I called up Preston to see if he wanted to come over. He'd said yes, so I started to get the house ready. I ordered some pizza, put away most of my clothes, and rented a couple of movies.

Preston finally made it to the house after two hours. I'd remember that I'd lied to him about my parents, so I started to worry.

After an hour of eating pizza and popcorn while watching 'The Hunger Games', Preston started asking questions.

"Why did you lie to me, Forr?" He asked, pausing the movie.

"Huh?" I asked, pulling a blanket up over my legs, snuggling it.

"You told me your parents were home cooking, when they're really dead."

Harsh much? "H-how did you k-know?" I stuttered, tears about to pour.

"Reed" He answered.

"Oh, so Reed will freaking talk to you, but not me?!" I yelled in his face.

"Reed didn't tell you?" He asked with a puzzled expression.

"Tell me what?" I asked, wanting to slap him across the face.

"Some friend he is." He mumbled.

"Just tell me the freaking story!" I yelled, almost throwing myself off the couch. By now, I'd totally forgotten how big of a crush I had on Preston.

"Well, if you didn't know, I'm a youtuber."

"You're a youtuber?" I asked, shocked.

"Shh. I'm telling a story." He laughed. "Anyways, your buddy Reed and I were best friends. One day, he got mad at me because I started getting fame and he didn't. Then, he blamed me for stealing all his girlfriends. Which, honestly, happened a couple of times. But then, I transfered to your school and when I talked to Reed about you, he yelled at me for stealing you."

"Is that why he left?" I asked, starting to cry.

"Yes. He said he couldn't deal with losing you. So he left, without a goodbye. He told me he loved you too much to have to deal with someone taking you away from him."

Bye now I was bawling. All Preston did was hold me in his arms. And I was perfectly fine with that.

The next day, which was Sunday, I decided to call Reed. Knowing he wouldn't pick up, I called his mom. Yes, I knew his mom's number, she and I were really close after I met Reed.

"Hello?" A voice answered.

"Hello. Um, is this Reed's mom? This is Forrest."

"Oh! Forrest! It's so nice to hear your voice again. Oh sweetie, how are you?"

"Oh, I'm fine." I lied. "I was just wandering if I could get your new address, for visiting purposes."

"Of course!" I could almost see her smiling through the phone.

After I got their address and we talked for awhile, the call finally ended. I had to go visit Reed, now, before his mom could tell Reed herself.

I packed a couple days worth of cloths, my laptop, makeup, and other nececities, and rushed to the airport. I found the soonest flight to Tennessee, and bought a ticket.

After about two hours, my flight was called. I rushed onto the plane and got my seat. For the rest of the ride, I slept. And during that time, I dreamed about how Reed would feel when I got there.

Sad, mad, happy, excited?

Oh, god. What if he hated me for everything.
