Chapter 1:
So, I wake up in the morning, an ordinary day until I realized it was the first day of summer! I've been waiting for this , the whole year. I got very excited because I am now going to be able to stay up late all the time. I just realized that I have a whole summer to obsess over anything I wanted to!
The only thing that put me in a bad mood is that my best friend who lives next door is moving. Someone has just bought the house and is moving in today. I'm worried because I don't want some weird neighbor next door.
Then, I got up, and got dressed in a comfortable outfit. I decided to wear my "Dream on Dreamer" shirt, high-waisted shorts and gold sandals. Then, I ran down-stairs to grab a bite to eat for breakfast. I have a bowl of cereal and then notice out the window that there are movers moving furniture into the house! I wanted to go introduce myself so, I tried to work up enough courage! Once I finished my cereal, I put my bowl in the dishwasher and walked out side. I tried to straighten myself up on the way down, because I did want to make a good first impression.
As I walk over, I introduce yourself. I realize that there is a man, women and a boy around my age. He looks very familiar.
"Hi! I'm Mallory!" I said, kinda nervous.
Then, he says, "Hey, I'm Jeremy, Jeremy Shada".
I knew I recongnized that name! Jeremy Shada, from Cartoon Network. What is he doing in such a small town like l live in! Wait, did he just say something, Mallory pay attention.
"Sorry what did you say?" I say embarrassed that I did something like that.
"Oh, I said how old are you?" Jeremy says while blushing.
" Sorry, I am 15, and you?" I ask.
" I'm 16." He said
"Well it was cool talking with you!" I said while playing with my hair. Typical.
" Well, we should hang out soon. In the mean time, text me." Jeremy says as he handed me a piece of paper with his number on it. It also had a smiley face at the bottom.
I begin to walk back into the direction of my home. What just happened?
