Everyone gathered in the living room, watching Christmas movies. Everyone was doing just fine. Adults drinking eggnog and kids drinking hot coca. People start coming to join the party.
Everyone is enjoying themselves on this beautiful day.
~A little while later~
There is shouting and yelling coming from the other room. Everyone panics and quickly jump up going to the other room. A little girl and her cousin by her side sees something that brings them to tears. The girl and her cousin see, her dad and their grandpa fighting. They're pushing each other back and forth. The girl could tell her dad was drunk again. She starts crying harder. "DADDY STOP IT!! PLEASE!", she yells. Everyone tries to pull her and her cousin away from the area. She refuses to move. "Aye, y'all need to chill out!", someone says.
SMACK!
BOOM!
They are full blown fighting now. No one is winning. The little girl tries to stop them but gets held back. "Stop!!", the girl's grandmother said as she pulled her husband off of her step-son. "Mann, F**k y'all!", the girl's father said. Everyone calmed the kids down. "Go to bed.", the girl's grandpa said. "Nah, she coming with me.", her father said. "No she not! Go to bed like I said!", her grandfather yelled. She started crying again. "Go get ur stuff.", her father said.
She was torn. She was confused. Should she stay or go? She wanted to leave,so she went to get her stuff.
"Let her stay. U can get her in the morning.",her grandmother said. Her father simply nodded and left. She was so upset and angry. She blamed it all on her grandfather.
She cried herself to sleep that night.
