Sophia: Let me tell you something.. this wasn't intended to be a love story.. this wasn't intended to be a courageous tale people will tell to they're grandkids later on in life when I'm long gone. But it is. My name is Sophia Jamison, I'm 17 years old and as far as I know, I'm human. Now let's get on with part where I tell got about my journey through Forks, Washington.
Sophia: So I'm the new girl in town this year, it's my junior year and guess what I know no one. The only thing I know is the stories my best friend Renesme Cullin used to tell me before I moved away from Seattle, a long way from her. Renesme is and was my best friend from Seattle, Washington before I moved to Forks, Washington. I'm not so nervous about moving to considering my family moves a lot, I'm kind of used to it. I've never really had trouble making friends like some kids. We've been sitting on an airplane for the past 5 hours. I kept thinking to myself "I can't wait to get of this damn plane already." As we get off the plane from Seattle to Forks I'm wiped out by a crazy guy running through the airport towards baggage claim. We both moan in pain as he helps me up apologizing like crazy. "oh my gosh oh my gosh I'm so sorry!"
"I had no idea you were there! I'm so
sorry! Are you alright?" The guy said, resting one hand on my shoulder and one clutching my hand as if I would try and run away. I finally brush my self off and try not show him all the pain I was actually in. As I look up at the guy I tell him "yes of course I'm...al..right.. I..I..I'm okay, thank you for helping.. me..u..up..." I stuttered quite often after that too, but I wasn't wondering why, the answer was pretty subtle.. the guy was gorgeous. He had to be about 17, 18, Around my age, he was tall very tan and very very handsome. He has a noticeable jawline that could cut diamonds. His eyes were A turquoise color which was strange but made him even more attractive. His shoulders were very broad and his arms were muscular like he works out everyday. He was wearing a tight athletic type, white shirt with blue jeans that few people could make look good, And he does. The guy smiles at me and says "I'm glad your okay, wouldn't wanna hurt a beauty like you." I blushed.. and I think he noticed because he giggled and asked me what my name was. "Sophia.. Sophia Jamison." Boy he was cute.. his eyes sparkled like the stars. and his smile was so perfect it made me wanna kiss him right then and there. I finally asked him "Well what's your name?" he replied with "Vance Liégrá" It was definitely a foreign name. I couldn't tell if it was Mexican or Indian... or both. We just kind of stood there in an awkward silence. At least, it was awkward to me, he just stood there smiling and staring at me like I was a prize he just won. Finally he said "Well
I'll see you around Sophia." Which was kind of weird considering he has no idea why I'm here and who I was, how did he know he was gonna see me again. My parents were coming back from baggage claim with all our bags. I walked over to meet them but they wouldn't let me help. "we got it, it's okay" my mom said smiling. my mom was a very calm person, very head strong and sometimes stubborn. My dad is practically the complete opposite he's very crazy and frantic, he worries a lot and doesn't like compromise when he's upset. Too bad he's not my real dad, Jason is my step-dad. Going on 6 years, he's a great dad and I love him. But I do miss my real dad, I haven't seen him in ages. I guess it'll be a good thing to move to Washington so I can so I can finally see him. What makes me nervous the most is we'll all
be together for about a month.. and then my mom and Jason are leaving to go to Monte Carlo for Jason's big interview. He is a director for this movie series called "The Maze Runner". Which I'm not complaining about because when it's all over I get to meet the cast.. Which means I get to meet Dylan O' Brien. That I'm excited about! We finally got a cab to take us to Forks, Washington. I can't really tell if I'm excited or I'm just relieved to get out of Seattle and that stupid airplane. I guess I'm just excited to see dad, I saw him last Christmas when I was up in Washington for about a month. But it's September now, and it's been too long. All of the sudden my mom says "Here we are! Forks, Washington". I walk into the house were renting and standing there was my dad with flowers and a huge smile on his face. "DAD!" I said as I ran up and jumped on him and hugged him. He hugged me as tight as he could, as I did him. We released and he looked at me as if I had changed since the last time I've seen him. "You seem to look more beautiful and older every time I see you, I just can't believe this is you, so grown up and mature." "Yeah.. this is me."
