This isn't a good idea I know it I can feel it. I should've at least told Jesse I was coming he's going to be angry with me now. I don't want my brother angry with me!!!!!

Anyway I'm starting my first year there and I didn't tell Jesse 'cause I wanted it to be a surprise but now that I think over my plan to avoid Jesse until acapella auditions I think that might be stupid because it'll be just my luck I'll run into him at the activities fair. Well that would be better than waiting anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love my brother and all but I wanna surprise the hell outta him!!!
As I get out of my cab, my parents are sick and couldn't drop me off, a perky blonde girl comes up to me. "Welcome to Barden University, what dorm?"
"Baker Hall, I think?" I answered back in my soft voice. I've never been able to speak very loudly. She explains how to get to my dorm and when I'm about to walk off she says "And here's your official BU rape whistle. Don't blow it unless it's actually happening!" Dear god! I'm carrying this thing every where just in case!!!!
So I go to my dorm, and when I get there I see my roommate, a girl named Poppy. I don't say anything and neither does she. This is perfect because I didn't come here for love or to make friends I came for an education and my brother. And singing, my talent that I keep hidden from even my brother!
I finished unpacking and decided to go to the activities fair to look for Jesse. He's probably with that girlfriend he's always talking about, Beca. So I start walking around and....
