Chapter 8: Visions

They were expecting my answers by tomorrow. I didn’t know what to say. How did they know I’m not really Yukino. I don’t want to lie but the truth is that I am Yukino and Nao. Did everyone have a fake name?

“Yukino! Hey!” said a familiar voice.

“Yukino,” a voice said again.

“What,” I answered.

My head was light and I couldn’t see anything.

“You remember our question right,” said a different voice this time.

“Who are you, Yukino,” said Yuri.

I was able to see Yuri and Yuki side by side.

“I’m Yukino, who else,” I asked.

“Don’t fool us. We know you’re keeping something from us,” said Yuki.

“Why won’t you let us see you on earth,” they whispered to both my right and left ear.

So that was what they were bothered about. Suddenly they faded away into a thick fog. I felt a hand on my right shoulder. I quickly turned and was face to face with Kitsune.

“Yukino, make a contract with me, quick,” said Kitsune.

It looks like he was in pain, wounded and weak.

“Back off Kitsune,” said another voice. It was the crow.

Finally, my senses came back to me a little although my head was still light. I realized was in the forest but what was I doing? How did I come here? Soon Kitsune and the crow faded.

All of a sudden a hand grabbed my right and another hand covered my eyes. I couldn’t see. I could feel the cold hand touching me. I didn’t have the power to do anything. I was weak and I didn’t know what was happening.

“Yukino Nightohime, I am Lavi. The opposite of you, similar to Fredric but somewhat different. You won’t be able to see me but I could only connect to you by touching you. I shall give you advices. What you’re seeing now was a vision of the future. Whatever you do, do not make a contract with Kitsune or Crow. You don’t have complete power of your vision yet so you could only see a small part. I shall see you soon, Nao Yamada,” said Lavi letting go of me.

I fell to my knees as if I had no more power. I collapsed.

“Yukino! Are you ok? Wake up, Yukino,”

“Give her space,”

“She’s waking up,”

I saw all my friends; Kanna, Fredric, Tatoyama brothers, Dia, Pearl, Harry, Palo and Gabby. I also say Lio by my side with one more person… with a tail.

“I’m glad to see you’re awake” said Lio.

“You all had us worried,” said Fredric.

“Can you get up,” said a man with a tail.

I looked closely at that person as my eyes got adjusted. It was Kitsune reaching his hand out to me. I ignored his hand and placed my hand gently on my face looking down.

‘Don’t make a contract with Kitsune and Crow’ that voice was still in my head.

“Are you ok,” wisphered Kitsune to my right ear.

Without realizing, Kitsune was carrying like a princess.

“What are you…” I tried to continue but my head started to get dizzy.

“Nightohime-sama, oyasuminasai,” he whispered in Japanese saying ‘The princess of night, good night’’

I closed my eyes and let him carry me away but I couldn’t sleep. When we arrived, he placed me on a bed. I’m not sure what room but I was on the most comfiest bed I have ever slept on. I slowly opened my eyes and beside me, sitting on a chair was Kitsune. As my eyes slowly started to get blurred, I kind of saw him as Kei.

“Kei,” I whispered.

“Yes,” he replied.

“Where am I,” I asked in a low voice.

“You're in your room,”

I got up as soon as I could. I was in my house and Kei was there.

“What are you doing in my room,” I shouted.

I felt completely fine but soon he disappeared with a tired face.

‘No. I can’t have another vision,’ i was speaking to myself.

“Nao,” said a voice of Lavi.

I almost forgot my name.

“Lavi? Is that you,” I asked.

No reply. The fog was clearing away. Right in front of me, I saw 4 people standing.

All at the same time they said “Yukino Nightohime, you have been chosen. You’re the 5th one. There is a secret inside the library. Do it before time for you shall see the truths.”

And they all disappeared.

“Yukino are you awake,” asked a voice.

I quickly woke up. There was the Tatoyama brothers. I was back in the castle where the brothers left me with that question.  I quickly got up and headed back to earth without saying a word. I went to find the secrets.
