‘Oh my god! He’s looking at me,’ Tiffany thought with excitement. Tiffany was on the tram on her way to work, as she always does every morning. When he caught her looking at him she quickly turned her head so he couldn’t see her blushing bright scarlet. The tram stopped right in front of the coffee shop that Tiffany worked at. The both of them got off at the same stop because they worked right next door to each other. Every day he would politely offer to let her get on and off the tram first, and every day she would blush as red as a tomato. Tiffany walked in through the doors of the coffee shop and saw her friend, Krystal.

“Looks like someone’s falling in love!” Krystal teased, while she was cleaning tables.

“He looked at me today,” Tiffany said with excitement.

Krystal giggled while getting ready to make the first coffee of the day. Tiffany went to get her coffee apron and started to serve her first customer.

“Hi! What can I get for you today?” Tiffany said brightly, until she realized who she was serving.

“I would like three small coffees; and one iced coffee, thanks,” the guy from the tram answered. Tiffany was so shocked and timid that she didn’t want to ask the next question.

“Oh... umm, okay, umm what’s your name sir?” she asked softly.

“William.”

“Okay, William your order will be ready in five minutes,” she muttered quickly as she paced towards Krystal.

“Get to know him before your chance is gone,” Krystal whispered to Tiffany.

“I can always go across the road and ask for his help to find a good book to read,” Tiffany said caustically.

“But you don’t read,” Krystal pointed out while giving the finished coffees to Tiffany.

Tiffany walked over to William to give him his drinks.

“William?” she whispered.

“Here you go, three coffees and one iced coffee,” Tiffany repeated his order.

William looked at Tiffany with a smile. “Thanks,” William replied as I grabbed the drinks and walked back across the road to the book store that he worked at. Tiffany ran into the back office of the shop and jumped up and down with joy like she a two year old who had just eaten a kilo of sugar.

The next day, Tiffany sat in front of William on the train and tram again. She stared at him as if he was a prince. As the tram came to a halting stop, they both crashed into the each other at tram door again.

“Oh sorry, I’m always in your way,’ Tiffany said nervously.

“That’s okay, maybe it’s a sign,” William joked as he offered her to get out first. Tiffany thought about what Krystal said about making the first move.

“Hey, I’ve never had the chance to introduce myself every time see each other,” Tiffany started off. “I’m Tiffany.”

“I’m William, It’s nice to meet you,” he said with a big smile on his face.

“You know, I always see you at the coffee shop maybe we should have a coffee sometime,” Tiffany said shyly.

“That sounds good, are you free this afternoon?”

“Yeah, around one thirty?”

“Perfect, see you then.”

Tiffany waved while running towards the coffee shop because her little talk with William made her late for work. Once she stepped in the shop she couldn’t stop smiling, jumping and giggling, she was just so excited.
