She sat across the room, with her gaze locked on Jackson, the love of her life. She sighed as she daydreamed of holding his hand at the beach or resting her head on his shoulder.
"ANNABELLE" her teacher yelled.
"Huh?"she asked as the class giggled. Jackson smirked at her as she was shaken out of her daze by the teacher.
"Time to choose partners!", the teacher yelled in her ear. Jackson ran right over to her and kneeled at her desk and brushed away the luscious red curl blocking her eyes and said cheerfully,
"Partners!?" Annabelle smirked and giggled,
"Sure"
"What do you wanna do for the end of the year project?" he asked. After thinking for a second, she blurted out
,"Animal shelter!", which got a loud
"SHHHHH" from the class. Annabelle and Jackson whispered among themselves until the bell rang for the end of the day. They decided to walk to the local coffee shop where Jackson worked, to talk about their project. As Annabelle looked down at the rocky path Jackson smirked and grabbed her hand. Her face turned bright red as she grasped his hand tighter.
