Chris defeats Vandal Savage while singing "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas. I do not own YJ, DC or Disney.

Chris cornered Vandal Savage in the deep, dark forest. Klarion, Queen Bee and Ra's Al Ghul had already been defeated and arrested. Now all that was left to do was take down their leader, the mastermind behind it all, the one who had planned everything, from brainwashing the Justice League to taking control of the WarWorld to trying to kill Superboy and his younger brother and sister.

Savage laughed cruelly in his opponent's face.  "Save yourself some time and admit defeat right now!", he taunted.  "There is no possible way you can overpower ME!  I am VANDAL SAVAGE!  You are nothing but a mere child!"  Chris stood up, tall and straight, his deep blue eyes narrowed in concentration, so focused and determined as he glared at Vandal Savage that even the said villain couldn't help but be hypnotized by his steady gaze as he began to sing.

You think I'm an ignorant child.
And you've been so many places, I guess it must be so.
But still I cannot see,
If the childish one is me,
How can there be so much that you don't know?

Chris took a few steps back.

You...don't...
Know...

Chris walked around Savage, while motioning to the nature surrounding them.

You think you own whatever land you land on.
The earth is just a dead thing you can claim.

He knelt down in between a boulder and a sapling.

But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life, has a spirit, has a name!

He first touched the boulder, then the sapling, before a herd of pink butterflies flew over his head in a beautiful sight.

You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you.
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger,
You'll learn things you never knew you never knew.

He thrust his arms upward, motioning towards the luminescent moon up above.  It's silver-white glow mixed so well, it almost seem blue.

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon?
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountain?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?

All of the sudden, deer ran around him, zigging and zagging through the thick strong oak trees.

Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest!
Come taste the sun sweet berries of the earth!
Come roll in all the riches all around you!
And for once, never wonder what they're worth!

He ran off and dove into the lake.  While he swam, a heron flew in the air just above him, and two otters swam on either side of him.

The rainstorm and the river are my brothers!
The heron and the otter are my friends!
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends!

He jumped out of the water and ran over to a tree, climbing it like a monkey with ease.

How high does a sycamore grow?
If you cut it down, than you'll never know!

He stood on the very top of the tree, standing on the strong, sturdy branches, his back straight as he gazed out onto the horizon, belting out at the top of his lungs as the winds tussled his short brown hairs.

And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon,
For whether we are white or color-skinned,
We need to sing with all the voices of the mountain!
We need to paint with all the colors of the wind!
You can own the earth, and still,
All you'll own is earth, until,
You can paint...
With all the colors...
Of...
The...
Wwiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnndd.

Vandal Savage was mesmerized by Chris wielding of the forces of nature.  So mesmerized, in fact, that he didn't notice Nightwing sneak up on him.  Then, with all of his strength, he delivered a mighty kick to the back of Savage's head, knocking him out.  Slapping handcuffs around his wrists, Nightwing smirked at Supes.  "Great work.  I'd say its a day well spent.  Let's go home.
