Chapter 5

After Annalise tells me her story and shows me her many excruciatingly painful looking scars. And she crys all her pain that she has bottled up for so many years, I pull her to her feet. I plan on taking her back to New York with me, where I know she'll be safe. I think it has something to do with our charms that she hasn't died yet. I know 'cause I was hit by a car when I was younger also. Nobody did anything to help me, they left me in the road to die. It was a hit and run, but my parents didn't care enough about me to try and save me. They just moved me out of the road and left me. An older person who I now know as Chow-Ching saved me. I never knew what brought him to New York, but again, I never asked. One day he came up to me and told me it was his destiny to find me and save me. For me to live because I have many things, good things, that I have to do in the future. I think it was my destiny to find Annalise. Help her through all this. To keep her safe from the harm of others. As if she was an Angel with a broken wing. Put down by others who thought she didn't belong there. People are after us. Bad people. But my only priority is to keep her safe. I'll take her to Chow-Ching. Hopefully he'll know how to help us out of this shit. Annalise already hates herself i don't need to give her any other reason to. She's such a beautiful, strong woman, who's being put to the test. On how long she can keep up. She's short with brown hair and gorgeous brown eyes. I hope she holds on quite a bit longer and not ready to give up on this treacherous life anytime soon.

"Anna, I'm going to take you away from here, to a safer place, okay?," I ask, "do you trust me?"

"I trust you," she says in the tinest voice. I carefully touch her shoulders, scared if I put any pressure on her she'll break.

"We're going to find my old gaurdian. I have an idea where he is but I'm not going to say it out loud in case some one is listening, so let's go," I tell her.

I grab her hand and walk off.***********************************
