The black bear is very different from other bears. It is much smaller, and lacks the shoulder hump that brown bears have. Despite there huge appetite, they end up being 1-2 feet shorter than most other bears. They need this size so that they can seek refuge in the trees. Being very peaceful animals, they tend to run away or hide rather than attack intruders. With amazing climbing abilities, great senses, and amazing habits, join a journey that can come from no where but found with a bear.
