"He got into trouble with other little kids, and every time that happened, it was by complete accident, accidentally hitting a baseball through a window, breaking lamps, that kind of stuff. He was clumsy, but every kid loved him. When he was thirteen he befriended a girl. She was also thirteen, her name was Cheryl and they we're the best of friends. Cheryl and Calvin hung out everyday, whether they we're sick or hurt, they we're always there for each other. Cheryl didn't care if Calvin was different, she liked him for who he was. Cheryl taught Calvin how to skateboard and Calvin told stories about the gems from out beyond the stars of earth and what he knew about the crystal gems and the dreaded gem war. They we're friends until some time after Calvin turned fifteen, he realized he had feelings for Cheryl and was going to tell her the next time they hung out. Well that happened the next day, the both were at the skate park alone and he felt really nervous, but something happened that prevented him from confessing his feelings, Cheryl was trying to do some type of flip in the air and didn't quite land on her board...more like on her head, which knocked her unconscious. Calvin was panicking harder than he ever did in his life. He called 911 and then Cheryl's parents and stayed by Cheryl's side till the ambulance arrived. A few hours after they arrived, Calvin was sitting on the edge of his seat, waiting for Cheryl to wake up. She didn't wake up until an hour after that, Calvin was filled with so much joy he tried to hug her, until Cheryl shoved him away from her, a look of confusion was in her eyes. Calvin kept on trying to tell her that it was him, her best friend Calvin...then she said 'I don't remember being friends with you, and why should I? You look like loser to me, I mean seriously. Who puts a knee pad on their shoulder? You look like an idiot'... Calvin was shocked at Cheryl's words and ran out of the room crying. It wasn't until a few days later that it became obvious that Cheryl had amnesia".
