You know how you wake up one day and believe that everything is right with the world...... Yeah I didn't think so. Ok, so today is the day that my life flipped from semi-normal to hell hath frozen over Armageddon. You must be wondering what happened well here's how it goes.....

"So the hypotenuse is always across from the right angle in a triangle" Ms. Harris quotes from our Geometry textbook. I groan and look around the classroom. I look to my left and squint to make sure that I am seeing this right. My best friend is doing the Macarena in her seat hip wiggles and all. I face palm and try to pay attention to my teacher. Just as I was about to pass out and hit my head on my desk the fire alarm blares loudly all throughout the school.
"Single file kids" Ms. Harris yells so that we can hear her over the bell. When we get outside everyone is either gasping or laughing. I look around until I see it and when I do I nearly had a heart attack. The whole entire school was in flames and it looks like the fire was heading towards the wing of the school that I was just in. I almost could have been smoked. As the rest of the students are running out of the building the fire department shows up and soon after the police are there.
As soon as the police show up they go and arrest Kaden Sanders. "I should have known" I say to myself. They handcuff him and place him in the back of the squad car. But when they go to talk to the principle, I spot Kaden's friend Micheal "Tough" Bishop stealing one of the cop's keys and releasing Kaden. Just as the two run off Kaden looks back and stares at me. It literally felt like he was staring into my soul. I look back to see if there was anyone behind me and when there wasn't I look back to see that he is gone.
Present
So you would think that he would be long gone right? Well it turns out that after Kaden left, the footage that showed him setting the school on fire was deleted so the charges had to be dropped. But he still didn't come back. While the school was being rebuilt they sent all the students to different schools. But that was two years ago and the school is now bigger and better than ever. So as I was walking the new halls enjoying the fact that I am now a senior, I happen to hear the secretary in the front office say "Here is your schedule and locker combination Mr. Sanders". I stop in shock and when I look up Kaden is standing right in front of me. He gives me that same stare from two years ago, the same one that hits me right to the core.
