The Girl In Disguise

CHAPTER I

It was a cold night at Kim's Residence. Yeri was waiting for her parents to arrive from work. She sat in front of her mirror to brush her beautiful long hair. She admired it the most that she don't want to cut it. She looks at the mirror and admire her self. What would I look like if I cut this hair? But I don't want to. I might look ugly. Yeri said to herself.

After a few minutes her parents arrived. She immediately ran to meet them because they've been out the whole day while Yeri stayed at home all by herself.

"Mama, papa! You're home finally!" Yeri tells her mom and dad while hugging them and gave each one a kiss.

Her mom gave a small smile. That's strange, it seems that mom isn't happy.

"Mama what's wrong? Are you alright?" Yeri asked her mom but she didn't respond to her and just tapped her head.

"I'm going to call Tan now." Her father said.

"Why are you calling Tan all of a sudden papa? Are we going somewhere?"

"You are darling." Her father replied

Yeri was shocked on what she heard but before she could ask her father about it, her mom suddenly cried. She immediately moved to her and comforts her.

Finally she asked.

"I don't understand. Why am I going? Where am I going? Are you not coming with me?"

Her father ignored her question and told her..

"Tan will be here soon. Change your clothes Yeri, it's cold outside."

"But where am I going?"

"You're going to Seoul. Tan will fetch you, he'll arrive in a few minutes. Now change your clothes Yeri."

Yeri did what she has told but her mind couldn't think clearly. Her thoughts keep on bugging her. Then she remembered her father's words, You're going to Seoul.

Why am I going to Seoul at this hour? Why now? Did something happened?

When she finally got dressed, she come out and saw that Tan finally arrived. She's still curious about everything that is happening in front of her. Her mom is still crying while her dad sits beside her, trying calm her. Her mom gives a loud cry when Yeri asked...

"Why am I going to Seoul?"

Her dad reached for her hand and look into her eyes and said "Sweetie, I know this would be tough but please be strong. You have to go without us it's the only way to keep you safe. We're sorry that we are not able to tell it to you earlier but this is urgent and you must go now. Miane darling, remember that we're doing this for you. We love you Yeri."

"I still don't understand papa. But I don't want to go. I won't leave you." Yeri insists, while tears started to fall from her eyes.

"I'm sorry I can't explain it to you. We're running out of time. You must go. Tan will accompany you to your aunt's house. You'll stay there for now, okay?"

"But when will I return?"

"We don't know yet darling. Please, just go for now. We'll try to contact you."
