32: Midnight Curtain
{Ladybug}
I woke up and looked around Adrian was sleeping next to me on my desk chair. Alya was sleeping, sprawled across blankets. Nino was sleeping on my chase. I pulled my attention back at Adrian. I poked him awake. "Huh?" He said, half asleep.
I poked him again.
"Wha-Marinette?"
"You have to stop this habit."
"What habit?"
"This habit of sleeping right next to me. It's not right and you have to leave," I flipped the covers off me and stand up. "I'll come with you but I won't stay."
"Okay, I will try and stop the 'habit' but you need sleep so you stay here and I'll go."
"Fine." I accepted, reluctantly. What I really needed was the fresh air.

I woke up to Tikki shouting near my ear. "Marinette! Wake up!"
I bolted up and checked my bedside clock.
No no no no no! I'm going to be late!
I jumped up and threw on some clothes and tied up one pigtail and brushed my teeth. I grabbed my purse and started down the stairs, only to go back up to return my toothbrush. "Bye!" I called out.
I bolted out the door.
Why? Why was I doomed to be late for class!
My chest ached. I slipped and tumbled towards the door. I stopped on my back and caught my breath. I stood up and snuck into class, Adrian's eyes seemed to be draw to my left arm and my face.
I looked down and sighed, my grey jacket sleeve was sticky with blood. I sat down next to Alya, who gave me a sideways glance. Then I felt the hair brush against my face. I pull my phone out from my purse and look at myself in its reflection. My pigtails were non existent. My hair fell around my face, like a midnight curtain.
Well, that's why he was staring at my face.
32: Adopting a Chat
[Chat Noir]
I definitely have a problem. I was staring at her. But she look so beautiful with her hair falling down around her face. Even if her face was one of extreme distress.
I caught Chloé sneering at me.
Well...she saw me staring at Marinette...yay, it's going to be harder than ever to get rid of her.
I looked forward and thought about how my life had changed when I technically adopted a cat.

"Chloé stop it!" I tried to escape the claws of a makeup caked, spoilt brat.
And failed. My pleading gaze landed on Alya, Nino and then finally Marinette, who all shrugged to say there was nothing they could do. I sighed.
Marinette's gazed turned into a cold glare, as sharp as a knife, directed at Chloé. I turned around to see Chloé, eyes closed and lips puckered.
I did everything to stop myself from puking. Let's just say Chloé from this angle was not picture purrfect. I placed my hand over her lips and pushed her head away softly.
