Chapter one new school
There once was a girl named Katie who has just moved to uptown Springdale. For her dad just got a brand new jobs she was happy for him but she was a little upset still that she had to move. But what she didn't know was that her life was about to change. Today was her first day of school she got up as early as she could she thought she got up at 5:05 but it was actually 6:30. But she has to leave at 7:11 to catch her bus once she say it was 6:30 she then started to get ready in a hurry. She ran down stairs and ate breakfast as fast as she could then once she was done she ran back upstairs as fast as she could to get dress. She ran back downstairs to brush her teeth and she did her hair in a small ponytail. She ran outside to the bus stop she made with at least 5 minutes to spear she was out of breath. The kids looked at her weirdly for they didn't know who Katie was since she was new to this school. They bus came at 6:35 when Katie got on no one sat next to her she didn't mind but when they made there next bus stop left from her house was a kid his name was Nate. He saw Katie siting be herself even though he didn't know who she was he sat next to her instead of with his friends Bear and Eddie. Katie turn her head to find a cute boy siting next to her Nate she turn her head he said to Katie "Hi I am Nate Adams are you new to uptown Springdale middle school." She didn't know what to say but then she said "yes I am new to this school I am Katie Jones nice to meet you Nate Adams" Nate then said "just call me Nate". Katies heart was sinking she pull out her journal and when she started to write about her newest crush Nate leaned in. Katie said "i...I use this to keep track of what I need to do when I get to my new school" she smiled. He believed what she said they both turned away from each other. Finally the bus made it to the school Katie thought in her mind that the first bus ride was way to long she was happy and nervous for she has finally reach her new school. School doesn't actually start until 8:30 the got there at 7:45 so that the students have time to get ready for the day. Every one started to get off the bus and enter the school Nate said "stay by my side if you don't want to get lost." Katie said "sure thanks." But instead Katie remembered that she had to go to the office for someone to show her around Katie said to Nate "WAIT I have to go to the office for I already have someone showing me around if you could take me to the office that would be great." Nate nodded for he knows where the office is so he put his stuff in his locker and started to walk to the office. Katie started to follow him thinking he was heading to the office which he was when they got there it was almost time for first class to start so he head to his class. Katie looked at the office and though *wow this is a big school I hope I get use to how it looks ok don't make a fool of your self now go in the office*. Katie entered the office and the office helper said "hi how may I help you are you the new girl yes of course the student showing you around will be lulu "you called me oh hi Katie I am showing you around today." So as the day went on she did school shown around she thanks Lulu for showing her around the school.
